but I was wrong.. I really thought Marquez was just good because he can fight Pacquiao competitively but he proved that his boxing is on elite level by stamping his class over Alvarado..

When was the last time Marquez dominated a top level fighter? :think Rocky Juarez I guess, and that was a long time ago..

Since he's the mandatory opponent for Pacquiao's belt and he is chasing legacy I think the fifth fight is inevitable.. :bbb

Dude, I'm one of those guys who thought Pacquiao beat Marquez on their third fight.. What I'm trying to say is, Marquez always held Pacquiao lower than the bars Pacquiao is expected to perform.. Marquez has always removed this unbeatable aura of Pacquiao everytime they face and make him look normal.. That wasn't the case in their fourth meeting but he won, and that's all that matters..

No its not, JMM doesnt need to school Alvarado to prove he is elite fighter, thats something boxing public and fans know for years. Good thing about last night is that at 40 he can still school decent fighters, for example Bradley is elite Alvarado/Rios are not and never were.

Then how would you rate his past opponents? Katsidis? Diaz? Casamayor? :think

It's true that Marquez rarely dominates his opponents. Even some of his great stoppage wins (Pacquiao, Casamayor, Diaz) were actually close fights.
