PAC has no way to beat Diaz. Diaz is simply too relentless.

1.) Juan throws a lot of punches, which in turn leaves him open. I'm not saying he swings wild, he's actually a very polished offensive fighter but we all know that Pac's best defense after getting tagged is to explode with an attack of his own. Juan is the type of fighter that would showcase the kamikaze attack Pac became famous for. The more Juan throws, the more chance Pac will get to land. The question is who gets hit clean first.

2.) Why doesn't Juan KO people with the amounts of punches he lands? Its because he's an arm puncher. No leverage, no power. In contrast, starting from his legs Pac punches with velocity and leverage. That darting in and out motion is designed to give Pac rhythm and space so as when he throws a power punch it truly is a power punch. Prime Tyson did the same thing.

    3) Pac is not a stationary target. JULIO diaz's mistake was that he tried to in-fight Juan, which played in to Juan's quick short economical arm punches. The type of style Pac employs is different from Juan. After an exchange he either circles or darts out, then back in again working off that rhythm.

4.) Pac isn't losing any power or stamina fighting at 135, you can argue that Pac was too big for 130. He'd be fresher at this weight coz he wouldn't be starving himself, besides stamina and conditioning is one of Pac's calling cards, dude's a physical freak. Also the reason Pac has always carried his power up is because he throws a power punch the correct way. Leverage+velocity+opponents face=ko or in Pac's case nowadays the punch leading to the KO.

5.) Juan fights the way Pac used to fight. If JMM was big enough, he would feast on JD. In short with elite fighters, throwing punches nonstop is seen as an opportunity for the other guy to set up his offense. Now Pac isn't the technician JMM is, but he can box from the outside as well. Pac's more dynamic offensively, he can potshot from the outside and trade if he has to.

6.) Juans hard charging style makes him the "stationary" target. Usually Pac is chasing people in the ring. Its alot easier to land when your opponent isn't running. Plus Pac's power would be amplified just by Juan's forward momentum. Since Pac throws his left from a distance, a perfectly timed left could stop Juan at his tracks.

After all that, i think this is still a pick 'em fight. I was impressed with Juan the other night. He reminds me of Pac kinda. If this fight happens, its gonna be guaranteed fireworks.
