    Was watching the Alfonso Gomez vs. Calvin Green fight last night, since i missed it live.

    I caught it quickly but didnt get all of it as i was walking by after the fight and wasn't really watching it anymore.

    He commented in spanish something like "Canelo quiero ese titulito que te rregalo tu promotor"

    translation: "Canelo i want that title your promoter gave you" in a kind of way of pointing out oscar gave it to him as a gift...

    He looked quick and sharp but i have no comment, lol. and i think i even heard the name Ortiz:yep

    Correct me if im wrong and he said more, or said it in a different way.

    what are you guys thoughts on these battles Gomez vs Ortiz Gomez vs. Alvarez? it probably shouldn't even be mention but since he's so glad and confident in calling them out why not ask?

    I like Gomez and don't blame him for looking for bigger fights. Too bad his fight with Chavez Jr. didn't happen.

    He looked good against an underwhelming opponent and has enough of a fan base to make a fight with Ortiz or Canelo financially appealing. However, I'm not sure he has enough firepower to actually win either bout.

    I seen that post fight as-well, He also was asked 'bout the Chavez Jr. fight that fell thru & he basically said he no longer has Chavez on his radar anymore. Will continue to campaign in the WW division.

    The title alvarez has is one of the most blatantly gift wrapped titles in recent boxing history. Beat a bunch of junior welterweights, win a junior middleweight title.
