    What do you think of this fight and would you pay for this on ppv?

    As a huge fan of both guys I would love to see this fight knowing that maidana would be coming at floyd 100 miles per hour and floyd would probably pick him apart... either way it would be an exciting fight and who knows... maybe maidana can apply the pressure that some thinks it would take to make floyd wilt...

    I love the idea of this fight. Don't think its very sellable though, especially after the ortiz fight.

    Maidana has a B level fighter who should be fighting the likes of Zaveck or Ortiz if he moved up

    I wouldn't mind seeing this in the mean time to keep floyd sharp and wait for kahn to be ready or (doubtfully) pacquiao...

    Maidana is a favourite of mine and I want to see him in good fights, him vs floyd isnt that, it would be floyd winning all rounds and maidana getting stopped.
    Maidana is not near that level and stylistically gets owned by floyd.
    Maidana vs rios/matthysse/morales2,ortiz2,berto or even marquez would be much better fights.

    Wouldn't pay for it. Don't care to see Maidana getting embarrassed.

    100% Mayweather domination. Very high chance of a stoppage.

    fighting Rene doesn't even help Floyd prepare stylistically for anyone that I'm interested in seeing him beat up: emmanuel, Sexy Sergio, and Amir

    horrible mismatch. maidanas the man but he'd struggle with Berto let alone Mayweather

    How does it matter? floyd only fights once a year, pacquiao,khan,martinez are current options then you also have berto,cotto,canelo for example and some of the 140 guys in the future and 147 talents like brook and mike jones, he isnt very active so it wont matter much.

    I actually think he would beat berto.... Too much heart & Balls. Berto has heart and balls also but his tank isn't as deep as Maidanas.... the first like 4 or 5 rounds would be insane.... then after that Maidana (if maidana isn't ko'd) takes over

    the one pro out of this fight is that Rene thinks he's smooth with his dirty fighting and lack of sportsmanship

    We would see Floyd showcase his dirty fighting arsenal on Rene

    Old ass Erik Morales was able to make Maidana look bad.

    Mayweather would crucify this ****er in the MGM.
