No tiene colmillo is what my dad and his friends were saying and its very true.

He has no hmm its hard to translate but willy tricks.

Right before the headbutt PBF had just poked Ortiz with an elbow.

IT amazes me how he keeps getting away with it time after time.

Yea it was still an illegitimate title. No one cares about it. It might as well have been the NABF.

Hatton was the man by default. The division was pretty bad then the only worthy guys at the time were Witter, Bradley(well he was almost there) Torres and Holt which Hatton did not ever fight.

Beating Lazcano, Urango and Castillo does not make you the man at 140.

Beating Tyszu does and he never lost that linear title. He forfeited his linear belt it when he moved up to fight Floyd. He never lost at light-welter before Pac therefore he was still the man at 140.

Yes but look at the level of competition though. Its one thing taking a tune up here and there. I understand you cant fight the best all the time but he fought Castillo, Malignaggi and Lazcano in succession at 140.

Word. Ortiz had the right spirit. That's for sure. He was blazing back at Mayweather. I expected a good fight going down the stretch and I imagine Mayweather did too. He found a way out of it though.

    And Tszyu?

Mallignaggi was considered no.2 at the weight when they fought.

But he was till the man at 140 because he didn't lose at 140 before fighting Pac and beat Tyszu the man. Just like Floyd was the man at 140 by just beating Gatti and fighting Brussels and Corley. :good

Yes Tsyu was his last tough fight at LWW. It was in 2005. The Pac fight was in 2009. WE all knew Malignaggi was there as a name who cant punch so he wouldnt crack Hattons chin and ruin the Pac fight. Come on dude stop fishing for excuses. You are trying to defend the IBO title. I suppose you think we need more titles in boxing??

Im saying titles dont mean ****.

We all know who the top dogs in a weight are regardless of whether they're fighting for titles or not.

Hatton was the man at 140, Pacquiao came in and KO'd him. Even if there was NO title on the line it would still be between the 2 best LWW.

Everyone knows that Morales is not the man at 140, there are 4 or 5 guys I'd back to beat him in the division.

Ottke never beat the man at 140. Hatton did and he didn't lose at 140 until Pacquaio beat him, therefore he was the man at 140. Resume after doesn't matter. You beat the man, you are the man until you get beat. Just like Taylor after Hopkins, just like Tarver after Jones.
