If we get a showdown between Brook and Vargas for a unification bout next what's everyones thoughts?

I cant imagine any top fighter apart from Bradley really, travelling to Sheffield for Brook.

Brook hasn't exactly shown the willingness to travel voluntarily to the states either.

My hunch is we'll get Vargas next for a unification bout.

    Thoughts if this happens?

I like this fight a lot. Vargas is really coming into his own as a fighter. His confidence in his ability and power is sky high.

I really liked what I saw in Vargas / Ali.

I am afraid we will start seeing top fighters "unable to justify" a fight against Vargas.

Today- that is a signal that you've stepped up your game.

I hope to see Vargas staying busy.

So, would Brook take the fight? IDK

Nah. Bizier is mandatory. No champ fights Spence in a voluntary. Cotto is likely, if not then DSG, if both fight falls through then some local guy like Bradley Skeete.

Spence will be mando after Bizier is out the way and will look to be enforced for September..... That's when I expect Brook to move up or vacate the belt..... No way Brook fight Spence:nono

Once brook gets passed bizier on Saturday, and spence gets passed Algieri, that fight will be made. Wasn't spence-Algieri an ibf eliminator

Yes but Bizier is a mandatory defense for Brook. He doesn't need to fight a mandatory opponent for another year. That means Spence isn't fighting Brook next, he might get that fight next year.

Vargas has a chance, a very slight one, Brook most likely wins by KO.
