Hagler struggles with Duran and Hearns starches him, then Hagler kos Hearns after the war. Often wonder what Roberto thought? Don't think Hearns was at his best yet Hagler was very determined. A shame they never met up again.

Duran has said he got caught, had a bad night. That is rarely taken into consideration. There is a tendency often to attach too much significance to a single result, round, knockdown etc. . .

Duran f**ked up against Hearns. Totally underestimated him. After going 15 against Hagler his handlers and hangers-ons must have told him that there was no way Hearns could beat him and that Hearns had looked average for the last couple of years with his hand problems taking away his power. What Duran should have realised himself is that even if Hearns had no power left, there was still no way that he was ever going to outbox someone with Hearns height, reach and boxing skills plus Duran was coming back down in weight after going up to middleweight. Never a good idea for someone who seem to totally let himself go and balloon up in size between fights.
