    1. Miguel Cotto*
    2. Kermit Cintron
    3. Alfredo Angulo
    4. Vanes Martirosyan
    5. Sergei Dzinziruk
    6. Saul Alverez
Possibility: Cory Spinks, Yuri Foreman, Joel Julio, Matthew Hatton??

*At this point of his career and his popularity I wouldn't imagine Cotto would participate in a tourney like this. However if this were held before he won the belt off Foreman, I think this could have been the perfect vehicle to launch his career.

Nice list man. I feel Foreman deserves a place if he is still capable of movement. Maybe James Kirkland too if he can boil off his 3 meal a day prison weight to get down to 154. While I would rate Cintron higher than a lot of people I'd leave him out just because I feel he could do with a win over some decentish gatekeeper to get his career back on track before putting him in with the best contenders.

alverez still is at 147 right? he will fight there atleast this year and probably capture senchenko's belt in february or march. I hope that he fights paulie who will beat zavec, and after that fights winner of the november fight berto -pac. so in march 2012 we have match alvarez-pacquiao undisputed. I really hope that happens

I thought Cintron deserves a spot as even though he "lost" to Williams he did still display good counter-punching skills and I feel he would bring something interesting to each fight (hopefully not bitching and crying).

He also brings an established name and resume, so from a marketability point-of-view and from a boxers reward point-of-view this makes sense. For an up-and-comer this is a name they want on their resume as he is considered a solid and experienced fighter who'se name is attached to Williams, Margarito, and the hotest middleweight-property around Martinez.

I'm not sure what Alvarez's intentions are but he hasn't been at welter since '09 so considering he is still young and growing it's getting harder to imagine him going back down.

I think he'd win it if he comes in being mentally focused and strong, I just don't feel he will and maybe a win over a strong gatekeeper like figure would help to strengthen him in that department. Failing that he proved to be a very good Bob Kratchet in the Muppets Christmas Carol so maybe he has a future in acting?

Cintron is a disgrace and deserves no gimme's (I'm not saying this because of the Williams fight alone), Martiroysan jobbed Ouma who beat him for sure. Angulo cant fight in the US and Alvarez is not a true 154 yet, he is a 147.

Lara needs to be included in any line-up of a 154lb tournament I think he'd beat any of the people mentioned here. Only Angulo, Dzinziruk and possibly Cotto (I'd have to see him recently to make an informed decision) would give him tough fights.

Never going to happen, Dzinziruk would crush that field.

I like it!!! But like someone said earlier, Cotto wouldn't enter it.. nor would Top Rank want him to. Also GBP wouldn't let Alvarez enter... he would stay at 147 or something... he's too much of a star for them....

But where is Bundrage? He beat Spinks? And also Hatton is not needed....

To me it would be Angulo, Cintron, Bundrage, Dzindiruk, Martirosyan, and Foreman/ Collazo/ Rhodes....

The reason I threw Hatton's name in there, was I think any tourney should have a fighter from the UK simply because of the fan base. If you're English feel free to correct me, but I feel Hatton would bring more fans than Rhodes.

I also considered Kell Brook on potential, but he might be a bit too green.

Yeah I think Brooks it to green as well.. he should probably just stay in the ww division and make some noise. Yeah Hatton is probably more popular than Rhodes also...

Ryan Rhodes is a very good fighter and you could consider Proksa a UK fighter, they are both better options than the overhyped 147 Brook and the 147 Matthew Hatton.

    Rhodes
    Lara
    Angulo
    Dzinziruk
    Cotto
Martiroysan (does not deserve to be here, lost to Ouma)
