As im watching Mayweather Cotto, im thinking if Money fights the same way, in the pocket with The Ghost, he will risk losing a decision. It's very possible that Guerreros southpaw stance, high punch output and rough-housing tactics will be enough to earn him 7 out of 5 rds on the judges score-cards. Also, after seeing Guerrero drop and punk Berto around the ring, he may have more power than Mayweather at 147. They are the same size after all.

Would Mayweather risk his 0, by going toe-to-toe with Guerrero, in order to provide the fans with excitement? Or will he box n move and shut The Ghost out?

Some interesting points are that Cotto had a lot of success boxing Floyd in the center of the ring which Guerrero may not be able to mimic due to his stance and lacking an authoritive jab. Also Guerrero is a much more well rounded fighter than Ortiz, being a better two-handed fighter and being more level-headed, capable of sticking to the game-plan. 8oz gloves at 147 opposed to 10oz at 154 helps Floyd maximize his speed and power. Last thought is that Mayweather is more aggressive vs southpaws, i.e Corley, Judah and Ortiz bouts and Guerrero would rather die before even thinking of taking a step backwards.

All i know is it will be an exciting fight and we all are underestimating Guerrero by far. Not one poster intelligently predicted Guerrero to beat the **** out of Berto or Marquez to knock Manny out COLD. I think i just hyped myself up for this fight. Sorry guysI had no choice, im gonna be there to see it live :yep

No i just dont think him boxing in the center of the ring or off the back foot would be a wise game-plan.

Gurrero hasn't done anything to deserve this fight. He's a fake ass multi division champ cuz the fact is, he's never beaten any of the top fighters of his division to win those titles..

I still remember him punking out against Yordan. He definitely has some bitchassness inside him..

I know Floyd has been away for awhile but seriously he could have done a better job at cherrypicking..

I think this fight will def be rougher and a bit tougher then so many seem to expect from it.

That being said, when the fighter fighting mayweather isnt in even in my top 5 in terms of who Id like to see Mayweather fight, its simply hard to get excited about it.

I dont remember the last time I was this dis-interested in a mayweather fight. Even the Ortiz fight had an element of Ortiz having dropped or stopped each and every one of his last 10 or so opponents (probably even more then that)....

I just cant get up for this fight. That being said, I will be surprised if Ghost doesnt make this a semi rough night for Mayweather. May better be coming 100% for this fight (not that he ever doesnt but just saying). Ghost isnt the type of guy you want to find yourself unmotivated and rusty against, even if you are Mayweather Jr.

i think its a shity fight and i wanted berto to win because i knew if the ghost won he might get the fight. mayweather would not have fought for over a yr by the time they lock horns. thats the only thing i see giving mayweather problems is his inactivity. mayweather beats the ghost in the pocket or out the pocket. he better then the ghost at everthing just not younger.

so floyd has everthing in boxing and the ghost as the youth and his been active.

Floyd is too good for Guerrero to try to stay in the pocket the whole time; he has the superior guard, the sharper punches, and maybe even a bigger punch. Alternating between making Floyd lead, backing him up with straights, and exploding on the inside with dirty fighting will help keep Floyd busy. I def favor Floyd to win but Guerrero's probably better off using a diversity of tactics than he is going the Hatton route. He's not Cotto.

I'd post my game-plan but it's long and I know you have a thing against paragraphs.

I expect it to be a bunch of grappling by Robert Ruiz Guerrero. It will be a stinker.

He would make more money with canelo and makes more sense to do it in may so IMO he's ducking him IMO

Guerrero vs Mayweather bs fight that Floyd wins and we know that before it happens

    1) throw in the word "interim WBC welterweight champion"
    2) pretend RG actually won "FIGHTER OF THE YEAR" with those 2 fights because it will look good on an advertisement banner
    3) Play on his once again YEAR LAYOFF
    4) and his 60 day sleep over stint at county lock up
    5) forget RG was slugging it out in the 135 LB division last year, while floyd has been sitting on his WBA 154 pound title

and somehow people still pretend this is anything other than horse ****

at least Bama saw the light, everyone else who hasnt are fan boys and not boxing fans
