Let me make this short and sweet, I was at ring side for this event. I thought Kirkland was losing the fight and Molina was impressive, although he did hold a lot. The referee should have warned him about holding. The stoppage was plain ******. :-( Everyone in the arena was booing the decision and Oscar was making angry faces but then he smiled at the responses from fans. :think I believe Morales won the fight. He was landing body shots and that sneaky right hand over and over again. He blocked many of Garcia's shots, but some did land flush. When Morales was dropped the the eleventh round I did not think he would survive. Still, he clearly dictated the momentum of the fight and I think he should have won. I am now losing faith in boxing with stupid decisions and controversies. Boxing is the worst sport for both fans and athletes. :dead
Boxing in TexASS is a joke, crooked as Hell! The ref that DQed Molina was an idiot, the bell had already rung and Gale Van Hoy should have been banned from boxing years ago! Campillo, Malignaggi, etc. have been badly cheated there.............
It's not Texas fault the referee is an idiot and boxing has always been a crooked sport. Yes, Malignaggi and Campillo were cheated here in Houston but you can't blame Texas. I'm never going to another boxing event here in Houston btw.
Trust me, I'm way over it. Even when they announced the decision I was over it in a second. It's just too bad that Boxing has to be like this with awful decision. I know Kirkland really lost yet they gave him a BS win. Morales did not get the decision but everyone who saw the fight knows he schooled the young guy. What a disgusting manner to have boxing here in Texas.:-(
Morales didnt win bro. he needed those last 2 rounds and ended up getting knocked down then losing the final round. it was sad to see
I guess no one should really be surprised because Houston is a **** hole so you can only expect **** hole like conditions.
