Not fantastic. It was nowhere near as good as his performance against Rahman in the rematch which was the very best performance in his career IMO (and Lewis himself said it numerous times). Nowhere near as good. It was also nowhere near as good as his performance against Holyfield in the first fight. Those two were almost flawless performances, Briggs was far from that
LOL, no. He had great fundamentals. He became somewhat overrated nowadays, but he was great fighter with great fundamentals. Pre-Steward version lacked balance but Steward improved it very well
Lewis didn't fear Briggs & came out with his chin in the air & almost got knocked out himself, luckily for him he quickly recovered & put Briggs where he belonged, on the canvas. It was a very good & bad performance from Lewis, all rolled into one, if that kind of makes sense.
