I have to admit I'm not familiar with most of his recent competition except Yordan, but for someone with his ability I would have expected him to have taken on a top contender in the last few years. I guess the illness in 2010 is a big reason for that. I would love to see him take on a top 10 ranked featherweight though, mostly because I rate him highly and think he would give any of them a tough fight, and beat most of them.
Okay...okay... This content is protected Let's try it this way: This content is protected Do you notice anything about the places he's fighting in that would require him to travel? For instance, oh, I don't know, maybe the countries changing?
From what ive read Chris John resides and trains in Perth. And goes back and forth from Australia to Indonesia.
And does he train and go back and forth to, oh, I don't know, Japan, Nevada, USA, Texas, USA and Singapore also? Or were you just flat out wrong? Edit: I realize that last sentence just sounded hostile, but honestly this is just a huge pet peeve of mine and I don't mean to come across that way. Sorry. When I read it back, it looked bad. Disregard that part, please.
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hoyZW6KjaF0[/ame] Chris John is a very, very good boxer, good technique fundamentals outside AND inside, eye-foot coordination, combination punching, tight defense, good chin, calm under pressure, lot of heart and likes to trade even though he lacks power

overrated..big time....i remember juarez nearly knocking him out in the last round....dude's exposal is coming soon enough
It won't come if he continues to fight bums...After the second Juarez fight, he probably thought, "I'm never doing this again".
You do realize you guys can contact via email his Manager Craig Christian, the email address on Boxrec is legit, I have corresponded with him. The biggest problem they have is that if Chris fights outside of Indonesia is big risk low reward, and alot of top dudes like JML, Gamboa, even Caballero...(if you can still call him that) Feel that going to out to Indonesia, is not worth it. John is a national hero and can draw ALOT in Indonesia, that being said why would he come to the states where he is a virtually unknown outside of boxing circles? The time zone alone would impact the Television revenue/viewership. Also the problem is not John, per say but the WBA, if his mandatory challengers were top tier (or get stripped) he would be taking more risk, but at this point I could see him retiring instead..... He has more than enough money to live off for the rest of his days in his home country. The days where he could/should have fought big fights has come and gone. I would like to see Salido go to Indonesia beat him like he did JML leaving no room for robbery that would be G. :rofl Salido could be known as the dude that goes to beat your ass in your own hometown and take your title. :thumbsup
