Why is Oscar taking heat for fighting Mora? Most people at ESB think Oscar is shot, an overrated fighter. Others just don't like him because he's rich and can have any woman he wants. But the vast majority of ESBers want him to fight Marg which would make sense if Oscar was in the same league as Marg which many claim he ain't. When he was gonna rematch Floyd he was an ass for giving us a fight we didn't want although it was the #1 P4P, when he fought Forbes he was shot because though he dominated Forbes he couldn't knock out the smaller guy, Pac was understandbly too small, and now people are saying him fighting Mora is a disgrace because Mora doesn't hit hard though he just won a title at Oscar's legit division against Forest (yes, I'm sure he's shot in your minds too). So question is if Hoya fought Marg will the boards be full of people claiming he is stealing the fight away from Williams who deserves it more? I can bet all my remaining v-cash that that's exactly what will happen.

According to ESB Oscar is past his prime and should fight a prime Marg but should not fight a prime Marg because Marg is running from Williams and should fight Williams and past prime Oscar should retire but not without taking on the best competition first? I think this covered it all. :huh:huh:huh

Oscar needs to fight either Trinidad, or Floyd Jr.

I'm not saying he's shot either, I'm just using that language to show many poster's mentality towards these fighters. I actually think the question will be will he fight Forrest because I think Forrest will take Mora in the rematch? But then ESB will be full of people bitching about two old fighters and how they should leave the game to the younger guys. I guess this thread is also about all the old fighters who are good enough to stay competitive in the game but not good enough to dominate their divsions as they once did; Jones, Hopkins, Mosley, Hoya.

Oscar should try and unify at his own size of 154 (Dzinziruk and Mora) but he only prostitutes boxing, thus he really "needs" to be humiliated beyond marketability by a smaller man.

But Floyd only has the "physical" potential to do so because he proved to scared to KO Oscar when he had the obvious chance

So he was all willing to fight the #1 boxer p4p in the ****ing World who is a midget, but yet your rationalizing that Oscar isn't on the level of Antonio Margarito.....

This guy Oscar is SO manipulative and his dickhead fans are worse:-(

I'm not rationalizing anything. What I was saying is that is how ESB posters view him and criticize him. I think Oscar is on the level of Marg, though he's not what he was before. The point of what I wrote is that no matter what he does he will get a shitstorm of hate on ESB.

FLOYD NEVER HAD THE CHANCE TO KO OSCAR...FLOYD BEAT OSCAR EASY IN MY OPINION BUT NEVER HAD THE CHANCE TO KO HIM...

I CANT GIVE OSCAR ANY **** FOR FIGHTING MORA...I FEEL THAT OSCAR IS THE BEST 154 LB FIGHTER TODAY HOWEVER HE SHOULD FIGHT TONY AT ANY WEIGHT IN MY OPINION...TONY IS THE FIGHT THE FANS WANT TO SEE WITH OSCAR...OSCAR ISNT SHOT..HE IS PASSED HIS PRIME BUT HES NOT SHOT...OSCAR WOULD BE REMEMBERED MORE FOR HIS LAST FIGHT IF HE FOUGHT A MARGARITO RATHER THAN A MORA....

I thought DLH vs FMJ was a very close fight, with Floyd nicking it late.

I wouldn't have said he had the chance to KO Oscar, but was making a dent in him.

I don't think DLH has slipped much at all, only his ability to beat guys to the punch really, but that can be overcome.

I think him vs Margo would be a cracking fight

Hey Oscar opened up his big mouth first, he said he would like to fight the winner of Marg V Cotto. After Margs destruction of Cotto, Oscar wants to fight PAC? WTF is that all about? and his excuse is I dont want to fight a mexican? Mora is MEXICAN jesus whats wrong with this picture? Cherry Picking on another level Oscar was a true great I defend the past Oscar but now hes just another ***** who should retire or fight Marg just like Chavez had the balls to fight Oscar.
