ESPN PPV. I'm picking Dirrell to outpoint Oganov, possibly stop him late. But an Oganov KO wouldn't shock me in the least because Dirrell has a leaky defense and suspect chin. Many people **** on Oganov for losing to Zuniga, but I'd pick Zuniga to beat Dirrell too.
Zuniga might be a future foe for Andre Ward ... I would like to see Dirrell face Allan Green or Jean Pascal ... or Alejandro Berrior or William Joppy.
One has to favor Dirrell going in, but it is true that he has been buzzed by people who don't have anything approaching the power (albeit crude power) of Oganov. If he can avoid Oganov's power all night he will win, if he gets tapped on the chin though we could very well end up with another Amir Khan moment.
Good point Maxx, however Dirrels chin I would rate as average, aside from this Dirrels solid skillset I think will be the difference here. Oganov defines crude puncher in my humble opinion
ive seen Dirrell only once and imnot eager to watch him again. even Hopkins throws more punches than him.
Well blade runner you haven't seem him fight as of late ... he has three stoppages since his fight with Curtis Stevens.
well when i saw him he looked very fast i just hate to see talented guys that throw ten punches per round. ill have to check him out again maybe it was an off night.
