Maybe a little too soon but considering Thurman-Spence probs wont fight till 2019, Do you guys think Kell Brook can have his chance to get the L back? Also, after the Peterson display how do think the rematch would go? Granted, Brook's moved up a division but if he's got 2/3 fights left in him as he says he has & Spence fights one more time this year. Maybe it could go like this? 1) Rabchenko - March 2) Khan - July then 3) Spence in December providing he wins the first two. Errol Spence is a great boxer & has an amazing story, but Brook had it easy in that fight till eye went. This is my first ever post & i was just wondering if anyone else thinks could be possible?

I for one would welcome a rematch
First fight was great and a close encounter the rounds they shared

They met when Spence was on his way up, and Brook waning down.

Brook wants to retire in a year and his ultimate goal is to fight Khan, not to go for the other names at 154. He’s never even spoken about a rematch against Spence.

Furthermore, Brook was the champ, fought in his hometown with a packed football stadium of fans rooting for him. He ain’t winning no rematch.

At 154 would give brook a little bit more of a chance but Spence would still be a favourite.

Recent brook interviews looks a broken man to me.

I don't think Brook will want to make 147 again, unless it's for a highly marketable fight like Khan (who might insist on doing their bout at the welter limit).

If Kell gets his Box Office date with Khan (the result is a formality, IMO) and maybe also bags Ali's title, and Errol is able to establish some genuine stardom in the US (Thurman stepping up for that asskicking would help), then a rematch at 154 in 2019 could be quite a tasty proposition.

Kell Brook needs to get that belt off Sadam Ali he can light him up at 154.Then a cash out against Khan. Then That should be it for Brook.Forget Spence he's hitting his peak.

Not a good idea, he's had 2 very tough fights back to back, going in again is not going to help. Fighters can't keep operating at 100% for every fight, it takes a toll physically and mentally. He needs an easier fight or 2 before stepping up again.

It can happen if it becomes marketable. Both guys have a window of opportunity to establish some stardom in their home countries over the next 12-18 months, so I wouldn't just rule it out altogether. It's just not a concern for 2018, and certain things have to happen for both men for it to become a concern down the line.

Revisionist history! Brook didn't have it easy! It was a back and forth fight until Spence broke him down with body shots and then ruined Brooks eye.

Waste of time. Spence broke him down physically and mentally.

    Too much pressure
    Too much power
    Too much chin
    Too much youth
    Too much skill

Spence is the best fighter in the division and it's uncontested.

When your best punches which normally slow opponents down don't make a man wince and YOU end up going backwards then you're totally done for.

We will see the very best of Brook at 154, I am sure of that. Let's not forget, we all know the scorecards after 7 rounds in the Brook-Spence fight. And as close as it was, I didn't see many people saying spence was ahead. And there's a reason. Because he wasn't. It just happens that spence dominates after the 7 round onwards, and in the 7th round, that's when brook had the eye injury. If it wasn't for the eye, it would have gone the 12 round distance.

Maybe spence punched brook's eye, and maybe it did go because of the punches. But it shouldn't have gone. They should have put titanium in the other eye, they should have taken no risks.

Brook had the better of Spence after 7 rounds. Yes spence landed the more telling shots, but Brook truly believed he would go the distance, that's why he boxed spence for the majority of the fight. And it would have worked, if not for the eye. The current Kell Brook beats the current Errol Spence Jr at 154. The body shots won't be as dangerous as they are at welter. Brook was tough enough at welter to go the distance, he will be literally impossible to knock down at light-middle. Brook outboxes Spence at 154.

In two years time though, when spence is likely at his peak, I think that a past prime brook is beaten by spence in a very close 12 round decision. So in December 2018, I think Brook beats Spence in a rematch if it happens.
