True, but he seems like damaged goods now. I seriously doubt he'd take a similar type of fight at this point in his career.

Well, he doesn't really need to. Ali, Khan and Smith would be a winnable (and modestly creditable) run for him before the hypothetical scenario of attempting to avenge his only relevant career defeat. He could call it a day with dignity after that, win or lose in a rematch.

I'd like to see Brook retire now as I would my friend Antonio Margarito. GGG damaged Brooks eye like Pac
    permanently damaged Tony's
but both are FIGHTERS & refuse to quit. I can only wish them the beat in the future

Brook is done. If he's going to quit every time his eyes get hit hard he should focus on finding another career.

    Yeah a conspiracy theory

IBF official aka "The Hatman" - "I was helping out a judge at ringside because he felt ill" - despite not being approved to be at ringside but being a man on the inside got there. At the end of the fight this same man ends up in the ring taking pictures with Lamont and his belt. The judging official never made a statement following investigation.

To fail a urine testosterone test you have to have a ratio above 3:1 (typical is 1:1) so already it's actually quite a margin to have. You can get around this by microdosing...which is what Lamont did but got caught because his dumb ass managed to get just above the 3:1 ratio.

Then there is the ref...which we will skip over given what i've just said

WBC (I f I recall correctly) stripped Lamont...IBF did not. Typical boxing corruption.

    Nothing dodgy to see here.

All that aside yes it was a close fight. I only had Khan ahead by 1 point.

Spence will just be more relentless in the rematch full of confidence because he knows he made Brook quit and Brook will fold when a fighter quits once it easy to quit again I mean look at Margarito never quit and probably will never quit Brooks mentally weak and probably always has been

I wouldn't like to see the rematch. Brook would quit again. There is no need to see this one. Brook has great skills but just isn't up to it mentally (to fight fighters of Spence's quality), not after the Golovkin fight, it ruined him. Brook is already talking about quitting boxing after this year. He has no business getting in a ring with Errol Spence anymore. Spence would destroy him early if they fought again. Brook has checked out mentally and is only in the game for a Khan fight.

I know it pains you Brits to comprehend this, but Spence is just a better fighter than Brook, and would have beaten him even pre-Golovkin.

No point whatsoever in having a rematch. WTF is Brook gonna do differently?

Don't like it. Brook should retire from the sport. Spence is only going to get better.

I don’t know Errol Spence of course, but I’d be surprised if Spence took a fight where he knew there was a good chance he might permanently disable or kill his opponent. Eddie Hearn however, I’m sure, would not hesitate to make this fight.

Brook fought the best fight of his career against Spence and I must admit that he did give as good as he got. However he still got beat down in the end. He can't bring anything new to the table in a second fight while Spence has gotten better all around and still fights with the same intensity and relentlessness. Brook don't want no more of that.
