    One thought:

    Dawson's last fight.

    Another even more relevant thought:

    Toney's last fight.

    _____________

    Bottomline

We have seen many American fans say "oh, well tough luck, but I'm happy to see that Toney got the decision even if he didnt win.."

And THAT makes it hypocritical to yell out when suddenly an American is at the wrong end of a robbery. Establish moral high-grounds first before being all indignated.

I feel sorry for Evander, but I feel disgusted to see people that did not say a peep except "oh, well tough luck" when Toney got awarded the last fight suddenly cry out here. Same with American media - such hypocrits. No outcry over that fight - only a few remarks here and there and now suddenly all this. Hypocritical.

I'm sure some of it has to do with Holyfield being a 46-year-old all time great fighter.

There's no resemblance between Dawson's last fight (which was against TARVER) and that travesty. There's also little resemblance between this and Dawson's fight against Johnson, which was close but could have gone either way. I agree that Oquendo-Toney was just as bad.

I feel so bad for Holyfield- Super sad day in boxing- Broke ass 46 year Holyfield beat Valuev- 9 rounds 3 maybe 8-4 if you're being EXTREMELY generous and got ****ing robbed in Switzerland. ****ing schiesty european bribed judges, it's ****ing disgusting, Holyfield is the man, one of the greatest Heavyweights of all time and he whups a prime 7footer when he's shot as **** and gets robbed. I've never been more disgusted at a decision.......A Holyfield win would've eclipsed George Foremans win cause Foreman did it at 45 and Holyfields 46 which woulda made him the oldest champ ever and the only 5 time Heavyweight champ ever, putting an unbelievable cap on a top 50 p4p of all time career. Foreman was old at the time of the Moore fight but not very shot at all cause he's a tank, he did good in recent fights leading up to the Moore fight but Holyfield hasn't looked good and has progressively looked shakier, more feeble and weaker since '98, maybe even earlier. Valuev barely hit Holyfield the whole fight!!! Holyfield mostly just danced and pot shotted with low punch volume as well but he at least connect 5-10 times per round. What a robbery. One of the most disgusting by far how can you screw over poor old Holyfield like that! A win woulda meant another big Payday title defense for Holyfield helping him climb out of his debt so he doesn't have to keep fighting for small purses until he's 55, now he's ****ed and will never get another good payday from boxing again (unless the right thing happens and there's a rematch) and will proly fight on until he gets seriously hurt or dies as result...how else is his punch drunk ass gonna make money. Just all around one of the saddest things I've ever seen and goof Valuev celebrating after the decision was announced made me sick. If there's a rematch it should not be allowed to happen anywhere besides the UK and the US. The european bull**** decisions are almost making me never wanna watch another fight held outside of North America, Mexico or the UK.

Amen. These corrupt judges may have stolen his victory, but hardcore boxing fans know he won this fight.

Anyone knows there was no winner in this fight. It was very prefabricated. Holyfield did nothing but run around the right and get tired. Valouev simply walked. I want my money back, but Holy did not do enough to win the fight and neither did Valouev. Holyfied would get knocked out by Klitschkos, or Chagaev. Good think Valouev decided not to fight or Holyfield would have been knocked out. Sad day for boxing, fans were robbed. The extreme hatred of a fighter because he is not from US is sad, they hate Klitschkos no matter how many of their heroes they knock out. They hate Calzaghe. They hated Michalczewski, Ottke, etc. Yes, they also hate Chagaev, Dimitrenko and they rest.
