Yaquinta is real Brooklyn gangster! I guess I still thought of him as the guy who got put to bed by Michael Chiesa, but he showed he's legit. I should have known better given how good Al did against Khabib but I guess I just wrote it off as Khabib being in a weird head space all of the opponent switches. I though Kevin's outstanding knack for taking the back would let him cruise to a submission win in the first 3 rounds. Wrong.

Al vs. Barboza makes sense given that both looked really impressive back to back. Justin Gathje called out Al and that fight would be dope as well, assuming Gathje gets past Anthony Pettis (which I expect he will). Al expressed interest in a fight with Tony Ferguson. I can see Al putting him on skates with the right hand, but submission defense has always been his weak spot, and Tony is endlessly dangerous on the mat.

I didn't see the Rob Font vs. Pettis fight, but that's a good win for Font, who is clearly talented but has been hit and miss in terms of his results. Tough loss for Pettis. Pettis had the biggest win of his career against Joseph Benavidez but then lost a disapointing fight to Jussier Formiga. Then his division got cut and he has to fall back to 135 and loses to a guy who is quite some distance from being in the title picture. Yeeesh, things sure turned sour for him compared to 5 months ago.

Also, good for Charles 'Do Bronz' Oliveira, avenging arguably the most frustrating loss of his career by submitting Jim Miller. That 4-1 at 155, with subs over Will Brooks, Clay Guida, and now Jim Miller. Plus he was very close to submitting Paul Felder with a d'arce choke in that lone loss. A match with fellow BJJ blackbelt Beneil Dariush makes a lot of since. Benny won his last fight and looked good doing it.

Raging Al put on a great performance. Deserves a top 5 opponent no doubt. Probation still behind Ferguson, Poirier and even McGregor(due to politics) though. Gaethje next would be cool. Would be a nice brawl while it lasted. Favor Raging Al if I'm honest.

Lee talks a big game, but just isn't a top level dude.

Men don't come much harder than Yaquinta. That was a great performance of toughness , endurance and skill. Lee's takedowns were more draining on himself than they were on Yaquinta.
The rematch with Kabib needs to happen but it seems there's a que in front of him.Plenty of good fights to come. LW is a great division for the UFC at the moment

Just goes to show how much better Khabib is than everyine in that division and that includes Holloway if he comes up. Lee makes me sick when he speaks but I thought he was 3 in the division and he gave Fergie problems with a staff infection. I used to think Fergie is a toss up and nightmare match for Khabib but Khabib ragdolls him. Khabib also dominated Al, toyed with him on the ground and on the feet just check the tital strikes profile.

Good win for Al against a bombastic dummy. UFC was dumb to announce intent of McGregor/Porrier. Al should get that fight but neither him nor anyone at 155 has a prayer with Khabib. Good win for A,B,C and D but they are all playing for second best and I do not care if MMA math does not work because it does in this instance.

Only thing stopping The Khabiber is the NSAC and their drug testing agency, butt buddies. Q tip head, scumbag Bob Bennett already stole over a million dollars from Khabib.
