Thoughts on Garcia vs Judah outcome

    when i saw the fight i noticed right away Garcia was throwing nothing but right hands most of the fight. had to be the game plan to keep Judas left at home to block shots. great fight night now cant wait for Peterson/Matthysse!!

    I think o_money said Danny doesnt have a good jab. His jab was beautiful vs Zab. Its hard to jab vs a southpaw but Danny made it effective and landing it with a lot of pop at times. Even when he hurt Zab, Danny never forgot to po the jab to set up his shots. It was the jab that allowed him to keep Judah thinking while he snuck in right hands to the body and then up top when he dropped his guard. Textbook boxing from Garcia this fight.

    Lol danny barely land a jab in which even danny said the reason he barely land a left jab is cause as you mention cause of a southpaw. All danny basically was doing was landing a almost look like right hooks. If that a prime Judah, danny would be ko under the 5th round cause those looping right hooks would have easily been counter by a prime Judah that's for sure. Good win for danny though. He just need to work more on his defense and use his jab more rather its against a southpaw or not.

    You dont need to constantly land the jab for it to be effective. And he landed plenty vs Judah. PLENTY. His jab was solid as it always is. The jab alone dominated Kendall Holt. And the reason why he could land the right is cuz he doesnt line his shoulders up/telegraph the punch. It almost looks like a feint when he throws the right and Judah couldnt tell where the punch was coming from. If u think he was just winging right hooks outt nowhere then you dont know what ur watching. Go ahead and think a prime Judah would have done any better. Just further proves you dont know what the **** ur talking about :lol:

    Wonderful night in Brooklyn. I was there (first time in NYC) and it was my favourite LIVE fight ever.

    Ambiance was electric.

    Judah did surprise a lot of people.
    Showed poise and heart.
    I'm a reborn Judah fan.

    garcia's right kept the left at home. zab was forced to defend with it because danny let the right hand go continuously. and he did it in a manner that wasn't exactly a big shot...but a respectable shot. i think he has heavy hands too. if zab attempted to let that uppercut go...danny had the hook ready. it was a gamble that judah didn't not want to take. i can't say i blame him.

    i've said since the beginning that garcia is a solid fighter. he is not amazing in any one area...but he is highly capable in many. i think he is the best at 140 at the moment. he's undefeated and holds two straps. until peterson or matthysse beat him, they can't make the same claim. both have losses. peterson's loss to bradley is a respectable one as is matthysse's losses to zab and alexander. peterson went life and death with amir and danny put him on his ass. matthysse loss to zab was legit imo...i thought danny just beat him very convincingly.

    ppl are going to sell him short continuously because they can't see past their hate for angel. he won't get the credit he deserves for a while.
