Gymnastics for relative strength/agility/bodyweight skills. Weights for absolute strength/power.
Gymnastics, for consciousness, of timing and distance, and understanding Newtons law of motion.
I know of 2 top weightlifters who came from this type of background, theres carry over for sure.
when I say carry iover, I mean going form zero to top of the game in no time BTW
Leonard was the same with Boxing.
