Overall I thought it was good. The commentators were a step below Showtime and HBO, but not bad. Production was nice and I like how everything was presented. Very high quality. Laila Ali seemed dull and bored.

The fights, Broner fought smart and intelligently but made it boring at times. His in ring antics were a decent chuckle I suppose. I didn't like that fight. The Thurman-Guerrero fight was awesome. I didn't find the rotating camera replay too helpful though.

Overall, I thought it was good, but with the bar set by HBO, Showtime right on it's tail, NBC was good, just a tad behind. Boxing is boxing and I'm looking forward to more fights and it's cool that more people can see it.

The arena looked fine, you're reaching. And these shows are paid for months in advance.

What to you mean "We", I saw good fights last night. You don't have the inside scoop on nothing Haymon does, yet you talking like you be sitting at the negotiating table.

That fight wasn't about Molina's win / loss record but his ability to make a good fight. He was there to initiate the action but he failed. Still it didn't take away from Broner because he did his part.

Nothing bad to say. It was all quality from top to bottom. The card was great, the production was on another level and the Thurman / Guerrero fight delivered. Broner won, but failed to capitalize on the platform he was handed. Adrien needed to dominate in "spectacular fashion".
...he just dominated. But the AL Haymon production was fantastic. We need some fighters to use their opportunity to put on exciting fights. This will help boost boxings' ratings and build the platform for boxers to make meaningful money when Floyd and Pac leave.

it's hard to be spectacular against a guy who won't throw punches.

True......but Broner could have opened up more in response to Molina's lack of offense. It was a lot of waiting around and posturing. If Adrien threw 80 punches a round to John's 13, then I wouldn't be as critical. But Broner seemed content on playing it safe which I can also understand....but the opponents aren't going to be getting any easier before NBC doesn't want Broner on the bill. Broner has to be Spectacular and even he knows it. Last night he did enough to win but his performance wasnt noteworthy. Whose next will most likely be a title holder......AL has plans for Broner so maybe this was smart by Adrien. He did reference his loss to Miadana and how it was a learning experience.

to me it doesn't make sense for a fighter to throw 80 punches when he can easily dominate the round with 20.

Rubbish crowd, tv presentation and production but that's not Al Haymons job.

We want our hbo showtime boxnation sky presentations with our usual favored commentators like paulie rjj the hbo team the showtime and skys boxnations. If other networks are paying to show the fights with their teams I couldn't care less on the free tv presentation.

I couldn't stomache the NBC broadcast for more than a minute and swapped to boxnation.

All property is theft copy the hbo and showtime models.

Does anybody know how often haymon will be putting out shows. I could see him starting a league or something with plenty of fights. It could get rid of the big deal about taking losses.

    My thoughts,
1-Production value was very good, but that has nothing to do with Haymon other than paying for it.
2-Commentatators are horrid and need training.
3-WTF was Steve Smoger on for?Surely this disqualifies him for any further Haymon fights acting in a referee capacity. He is now on the payroll.
4-Bad matchmaking,as usual for Haymon fights. If not for the bravery(stupidity?) of Guerrero's one sided beatdown the usual suspects win in a breeze. Not a single fight was mildly competitive.
5-Refreshing not seeing those two bucked toothed Watson boys preening into the camera's.
6-Enterences to WWE style and no MC in the ring is just plain weird.
7-All in all I give a C grade at the end of the day.

Thurman v Guerrero was a good fight, Thurman dominated but it was entertaining

Broner v Molina was pretty ****

All the other stuff like production, tv channel, promoter etc means absolutely zero to me and I do not understand why it means much to any boxing fan

Decent match ups is ALL that matters

    In a nutshell. :deal

The only people it matters to are trolls who want to posture against someone/something they don't like. Overall Haymon put boxing back onto mainstream network TV (on primetime). That should be applauded by all true boxing fans. Everything else, including the shows popularity can be built of of that.

Those complaining that ppv prices are too high got to watch two good fights on free TV. Broner came to fight, and so did Guerrero and Thurman.
