Maidana needs to do more bodywork Bradley and Alexander would beat Maidana Bradley is going to beat Alexander Khan will beat anyone at 140 EDIT: No official prediction, odds are even but Khan went life and death with THE most lethal puncher at 140 lbs division in marcos maidana and has improved soo much with Roach I see him being 110% rdy for anything Bradley could bring and will win via UD Khan vs Alexander would be the best fight to happen, Khan Marquez sounded cool but Khan will blitz Marquez ): Maidana will knock Ortiz out again Didnt see the Ortiz fight, heard Ortiz over-cautious at end of the fight Ortiz is kinda like my wild card, i say has the skills size and power to give khan a good fight but he will shell up and submit to Khan like he did vs Maidana. Being a southpaw Ortiz should naturally present problems with his speed and power, i havnt followed bradley or alexanders rec vs southpaws but I think Ortiz can win either one of these fights Vic Darchynian was not robbed but abner mares was definitely no winner of that fight, vic landed the cleaner harder and more efficient shots. Abner boxed very nicely, beautiful double jab kept vic at bay and even cut off the ring nicely, beautifully combinations, good inside work, abner mares has a beautiful style and and huge props for fighting with that bloody eye all 12 rounds if ever a rematch abner beats him again by ud Abner UD Agbeko agbeko peterson
I think Alexander is a bit raw and I think his power is overrated to be honest. He caught Urango with a great shot when his chin was in the air other than that I don't really see it. He looked like he was pushing his punches against Kotelnik. I think Bradley is a snappier puncher than Alexander. I say Bradley is too much for Alexander who will struggle with Bradley's heart and determination. Khan vs. Bradley I think depends on how Khan fights. If he uses that great, sharp and long jab from the outside and throws hard combinations and uppercuts and then moves off he will win with ease. He can probably set himself more against Bradley because he knows Bradley cannot hit like Maidana. If Khan throws plenty of the bodyshots he floored Maidana with against Bradley, he can break him down and stop him late. Khan just needs to disciplined.
We also got zab judah, marquez, kotelnik, and maybe even pacquiao in the mix at 140, allthough i doubt him ever going down again.
i dont see zab judah pulling through with the w vs any of the best 140 lbers, maybe vs Ortiz, two fast powerful southpaws now that could be pretty explosive. . . Marquez doesnt belong 140 and I say Kotelnik still loses to Bradley or Khan pacquiao will not fight at 140 guarenteed also what u think of Khan at 147? I don't see him doing well there.
Bradley will beat Alexander, Khan will beat Judah in a tuneup and then Bradley will beat Khan next summer.
At 147 he beats mike jones and clottey for example, but if he fought against alvarez at 147 im unsure what would happen, same with berto. Mayweather schools him, maybe in 1.5 years he has a shot. Pac also destroys him but that fight would never happen. Khan should stick to 140 and wait for pac to retire then take on mayweather who then is 34 years old and khan will be better. Its kind of a weak division if you exclude mayweather and pacquiao.
i agree, the heart and determination of bradley will win him this fight, not only that, bradley fights a lil dirty, i dont mind his style, just saying i think it will frustrate alexander, and thats how he will take him out of his game khan bradley is too hard to predict for now, bradley is the dark knight of the divison, i believe the odds will be extremely even for this fight, definitely going to be a great night of boxing Imagine Khan Bradley as the main event and Ortiz Judah as the co-main? :happy Life is good.
Agree, Khan's best interest definitely should be fighting at 140 EDIT: I don't think he'll fight Mayweather or Pacquiao, the timing is all wrong and i dont see how any of those fights would sell (yeah it will sell, but nowhere near 1mil ppv)
i wonder how paul williams squares off against fighters the same size as him oh wait. . . he lost to Martinez twice :deal
This is a great post and pretty much sums my feelings up perfectly. I will say that Ortiz and Maidana are very dangerous fights for anybody right now too, you never know if they could land that one big bomb to turn the whole fight around.
