Good assessment and post. Gurgen seems to have a good boxing brain and did very well in the World University championships in the amateurs(Silver I believe). Clarke was also stopped on his feet by Joyce also(Corner threw in the towel after a left hook).

Jalolov seems a really great prospect and for all his lack of general bodywork he has a great left hook he likes to throw at the liver to vary his rear left hand attack. Used it a lot when he faced the tough gatekeeper Sokolowski. Only concern is when he faced Joyce he didn't seem to like it to the body at all. Not sure how much I like a professional staying in the amateurs as he did and has but it's allowed so I suppose I can't really object.

Gurgen puts his punches together smoothy. I am shocked by his talent, for his size the no one like him!

Jalolov was a kid ( age 22 ) facing a man ( age 30 ) when he meet Joyce. In 104 amateur fights Jarolov was never stopped! Impressive as he was in there with plenty of punchers.

Fans do not realize 22 is young for a super heavyweight. They need time to grow into their body. Joyce by the way was stopped twice an amateur. And Joyce chin is more than fine as a pro.

Followed. Can do it, more than Makhmudov. Good technique, good power, good resistance.

Jalolov is a definely an A-list prospect. I would be very disappointed if he isn't hoisting a major HW title in the next 2-3 years.

The only thing I see missing from his game right now is a bit of punch variety - but that's not too hard to address.

Nice list - my only quibble is that Jarrell Miller does not belong on it.

Gurgen is a fascinating "wild card".
