Strange for a former average sized guy,a middleweight to come up through all the divisions and continue to win. His best wins at HW are old shot Holyfield and John Ruiz. Now Toney was stripped of the title because he tested positive for steroids but were the steroids not administered from a doctor for a potentially career ending injury? As of right now,I consider Toney a former HW champion as well as MW,SMW and CW champ. I think he even held a LHW trinket belt once. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p64uyW3UiDU[/ame]
Wasted opportunity at heavy when the division was at its worst. Rightly stripped. He's not a HW champ. Athletes take steroids to aid them to recover and to train harder than their body would normally allow. James Toney took steroids to aid his body to recover and to allow him to train harder than his body would normalyy allow. If it was ok to have a doctor give you steroids, everyone would have "injuries" that require steroids from a doctor.
I think we all gotta get over the steroids. They are in every sport and everyone use them in one way or another. The old time fighters didnt use them because the steroids were not around but they would have used them if the could have.
