JdJ has done wonders with Kovalev who according to those bio's HBO is running has done great things with the RAW tools Sergei came with. The bond seems genuine aswell.
Well, the judges are still out for me, when considering JDJ coaching ability. I'm really curious to see what his tactic will be against Ward. I hope its not just what came out the last couple days " we'll see how Ward handles Kov's power" ...thats not much of a tactic. That and " he's 50 so fight him like the old man he is" , although it worked well for Sergey in the end. I think Ward may have the edge in the corner department
Very good, but I can't forget the fact he was the one in Mago Abdusalamov's corner when that tragic event took place. To miss that was a massive fail for coach Jackson, no excuse to not look after his fighters health.
No doubt his former part time job as a bar tender has added tremendous value as part of the Kovalev Blue bottle "P.L. special" team.

Shouldnt most of the credit go to their amateur coaches though? Guys like ggg and kovalev could already fight.
