He said the promoters pay out of pocket for them. Something over a 1.5 mil if im not mistaken is being paid for this one.

 

Why on earth would someone have illegal wraps during sparring? You can break and cut your hands using them.

 

Because he is not American he used illegal pads all the time and in every fight.

 

The more i watch 24/7, the more i think Margarito has a better chance to win. I mean Pacquiao has faced bigger guys beofre but no one quite like Marg. DLH was a zombie and completedly weight drained. Clottey is huge but didn't make it a fight. Cotto is not nearly as imposing physically as Marg. Marg has an iron chin, is very tall and has the staminia to put pressure on Manny from start to finish. It's going to be VERY interesting to see how Manny deals with this much pressure. Marg looks to be in great, great shape.

 

What I didn't quite understand is why someone would spar with illegal wraps? Wouldn't that just be something for fight night?

I'm not that well versed in cheating.

 

then why are hbo always saying its out of their budget when asked to make countdown/24/7 for some fights?
