For an offensive fighter he looks awfully hard to hit clean, not sure if it's his opponents since I'm not that familiar with his division but he is making me take notice. I've only seen his last two fights, but he dished out some slow and painful beatings, wearin 'em out.
I love his combination punching, workrate, body work, and punch placement. His handspeed looks decent too. He doesn't appear to have a lot of power though. I think a lot of guys at 122 could get away with totally disrespecting his power.
Beast with the limited I've seen of him... Looking forward to his next fight Nov. 10. Maybe I go to staples center watch it live... Ticket prices are great.
Insane work rate and committed body puncher. He is a must watch fighter. a Mares/LSC fight would be great.
he is a ****ing beast a punching machine with good accuracy and decent power 100 plus punches a round if i am not mistaken absolutely promising little fighter, who might be special
I've been jocking him on ESB for a long time (longer than anybody ) and following him even longer. From a year and a half ago:
...and this is where my love affair with him (and where his resume's quality) really kicked into high gear: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?p=9822368#post9822368
Awesome, brilliant to watch and going to be damn hard to beat, it's hard not to love this kid, i've seen a lot of people say his power is a weakness though, and I thought so at first, but he's a good solid puncher even if he'll never be a murderous KO artist.
As maybe the only person on the board who's been watching him since 2008, let me assure you that he does have murderous power. He's at least hurt everyone he's fought (quite badly) even if the stoppage numbers don't flatter him.
He doesn't exactly have one punch KO power. But he knows where it hurts the most and bangs you there constantly. Can't forget how he won his title. (First time I saw him) He's the only bright spot of that bad card we saw. Quillin-Wright, Tarver-Kayode not so exciting, Trout was hellishly boring. Plus the PED controversy.
