    Let me correct you

A gifted fighter in himself moving up and fighting another gifted fighter

You did all you could to avoid praising rigo at all there ..

Erm you didn't really correct me. You are right though rigo is gifted also. If he was fighting anyone else but Loma I'd give him a good chance.
I was only stating the obvious to why the bookmakers have him such a heavy favourite.

At 126 it's a good competitive fight. 130 I can see Lomachenko rocking Rigo early and maybe having an early night. Loma is not Donaire, he knows how to fight aggressive and come forward, Rigo's footwork wont befuddle him, he will slip, roll and move to get inside and catch Rigo with good short right hooks.

I think Rigo is more skilled but at that weight im not sure. I have to lean 60/40 to Loma

I just don't see how anyone can think Rigo has more than 10% chacne of winning this fight, unless you are a die hard fanboy of Rigo. Everything is in favor of Lomachenko, Rigo has not fought many good opponents other than Donaire and Flores, h he was floored by some Japanese geezer. He will be under constant pressure from Loma and with Lomachenko's accuracy I don't see how Rigo can use his hands down approach, he will need to have his guard up for this one, Rigo has always out-footworked everyone of his opponents, but Loma's footwork is just as good as his so it will be impossible, Loma has more power and probably similar speed, his defensive stats are just as good even though Loma is constantly attacking. I just don't see any way in which Rigo can win other than a KO, which is hard as Loma has a good chin, untested for the most part but he has taken some big shots here and there and wasn't fazed by any of them.

I have a feeling that Rigo will surprise nearly everyone with his showing in this fight.

It is in my mind that he both wants and cares about it.

I don't think he has cared much about his opponents since Donaire.

Like everyone else, I like Loma and think he is a great technician.

But Rigo, if he is ever going to give his best, will do that in this particular fight.

Like some others who have posted here, I think that either of these fighters could run away with it.

While not "liking" him a great deal, I am actually leaning toward Rigo doing that.

    Can't wait.
