Bob Arum is about to do the same thing for Lomachencko man. The writing is on the wall and proper match making is what MADE Manny Pacquiao look good.
That’s a bit unfair to say Manny only looked good due to proper match making. Like any fighter, some styles are tailor made for them....so they end up looking great in those fights. But Manny has faced every conceivable style throughout his career. He’s lost some but he’s beaten almost every notable boxer in his era. Loma in 11 fights has faced pressure fighters, boxers, brawlers and slicksters....he’s only showed problems coping with guys who were bigger that applied a lot of pressure....but that was very early on in his pro career. He’s since improved a great deal. I’m sure Loma will be fed some easy opponents every now and then, but at this point he’s faced a lot of top level guys with under a dozen fights. He’s not looking for easy opponents. He’s already looking to fight yet another world champion in a higher weight class in Jorge Linares or Ray Beltran.
It's not the only reason he looked incredible at 126-130. But match making helped him from 140- Margarito. Except Cotto.
So... the ****...WHAT?! Does that take away from his accomplishments? I don't play the political left v right, red v blue, democrat v republican nonsense. I might as well hit the street and claim blood or crip if I'm going to be caught up in some bull**** that won't help me. If being republican helps him then so be it, he does a lot of work and people can learn from him. He didn't have to dance, sing, or run a ball to become successful ,plus he did it on his own after leaving Goldman & Sachs before it fell apart when people called him crazy.
I was testing you, and you passed. Congrats, you are bipartisan and dont care about affiliations. Welcome to the club. Are we friends now?
I guess. I'm pretty sure somewhere in the lounge I'm being called a bag of ethnic slurs by Dos Putos and the gang. No need to battle on the main forum anymore.
How is Barrera, Marquez and Morales proper match making? Those guys beat virtually any 122 and 126 pounder in history. Manny Pacquiao looked amazing at 126 and 130, especially at 126 pounds. Hes probably the best 126 pounder to ever live. And that's one of the 8 original divisions. One of the top 5 strongest and deepest divisions of all time.
