thoughts on Margarito vs Cintron battles, assuming Tony loaded up

As a fighter, you send out a respected team member to do an important job.......the job to make sure everything is on the up and up with you opponent wrapping his hands........

Kermit got knocked out in Jersey... And if im not mistaken, Hazzard was the head of the commission over there when this fight took place... So the chances of Margarito fighting with loaded gloves in Jersey is like anywhere between .5 to 6%.... Margarito is just a guy that had his number...

 

If he was caught doing it against a beyond shot Mosley in a fight where he was expected to win and had all the advantages he needs what makes you think he won't against Cintron in the first fight where he was the underdog?, or against Williams or even Cotto?

 

:roll: Margo, nor any top fighter would need plaster to defeat Cintron. Put Margo in there with Cintron again and revise his gloves thoroughly and I guarantee you that Tony makes Kermit weep once again. :|

Ive seen you say this same thing numerous times now. The conversation isnt about tito or roy. Back when those situations happened, im sure there were tons of discussions on it just like there is Margo now. Dont try to drudge up old situations to try and save face for the fact that a fighter you are a fan of used plaster in his wraps. You can toss any boxer in the world that ever existed into the conversation its not gonna change that fact. Accept it and move on.:thumbsup

 

If you watch the first fight with Cintron, you'll see he figured Kermit out in the first round. No matter what, Cintron was going to lose.

I cant watch the replay of the Margarito-Cintron fights without wincing or cringing whenever Kermit gets hit hard. Especially to the back of the head, the eye area and the body.

I cant enjoy watching that fight anymore. Even if there is no proof that Margarito used loaded gloves in those fights.
