    Definitely. I guess the Bradley rematch would be a good indicator of where Marquez is really at. But would Marquez train with the same intensity and hunger like he did for this fight? He was in beast mode...I think he would for a Mayweather fight, redemption and defeating 2, if not THE 2 best of this generation would be special. The only thing i worry about is the headbutts from Bradley. He's a great fighter but so hard to watch sometimes....

    I see no reason for JMM to let this train go off the tracks in a fight against Floyd.

    Hes got other options at this point..... if he fights Mayweather again, he will lose.... again.


    Marquez vs Garcia

    140 showdown

    Make that **** happen. Would be looking way more forward to that then a Mayweather rematch and see him get outboxed again.

    True, but that only amounted to about 5-7 clean shots over the course of the entire fight. In the later rounds, Marquez was just getting beat up.

    Exactly. He might as well retire now or shoot for all time greatness and beat Mayweather. I know this has gotta be crossing their minds and if Floyd wants it he can get it, Marquez doesnt have a contract with Top Rank.

    There's nothing wrong for the match up in general. But this adds nothing to Mayweather's legacy.

    He was able to at least one or a few clean punches in nearly ever round. Mayweather clearly outnumbered him in the number of clean punches landed total and in pretty much ever round, but JMM compete late in the fight in a way a lot of fighters don't after Floyd's adjustments shut them down.

    No **** he wouldn't fall into it like that, thank you captain obvious. But he didn't roll all of them.

    And even Manny pointed out Mayweather was rolling those punches. How many clean flush punches did JMM land? 2 or 3. And by the end of the fight Mayweather was walking him down and punishing him. JMM in the 10th and the 11th looked like a cornered animal. The compubox reflect Mayweathers complete and other domination. One of he most one sided affairs in championship level fights. I believe only Vitali vs Arreola comes close. You trying to inflect that it was just a few punches here and there that seperated the rounds is laughable. JMM couldnt even get past Mayweathers jab.


    Nacho recognized that strength wasnt the issue it was JMM's speed that would decide the contest. Marquez yesterday looked bulky and unbalanced, as I said he probably would be because thats what heavy lifting does to you its why boxers don't do it. It would not help him against Mayweather. Luckily for JMM Pacquaio got stupid because it looked like Pacquiao was taking over and JMM was hurt.

    Against Mayweather being a 6 round fighter banking on power wont help

    Different styles. Maywaether would make JMM lead and take away his counter punching strengths.. Still don't think it'd be that close... JMM would do better, but I cant see a win for him.
