Thoughts on Marvis Frazier vs James Bonecrusher Smith?

    This fight and many others surfaced recently and I thought I would score it. The first time I scored the fight I had it a draw and the second I had Smith ahead by 1 point, cause of the knockdown. Marvis Frazier was very impressive in this Fight and I can see why he got the nod. If he fought like this his whole career he could’ve been something.

    Marvis' better boxing and workrate got him the nod in this very close fight. 'Bonecrusher' and the thirty something Joe Bugner were the best opponents who Marvis could beat,though. Had he campaigned at cruiserweight and fought in a more "stand up boxer" style,which was more natural to him,he may well have had more success. Poppa Joe tried to turn Marvis into another Smokin' Joe which did n't work.

    I thought on paper Bonecrusher should blast Marvis outta there, I considered Frazier's win a big upset
