Thoughts on Mayweather Cotto and how I scored it.

    Cotto won round 3. In the first minute he landed jabs, left hook, and body shots in which a left hook did land flush. Second minute Cotto partially lands body shots with a straight left up top. A hard right hand body shot lands on floyds with a right up top partially blocked. Third minute Cotto throws a combo landing a right hand to the body n partially landed up top, then a hard jab snapping floyds head back, partially lands a combo finishing with a right up top that did land. Lands a couple of more jabs.

    Cant give this round to Floyd. His shots were being partially blocked other than some jabs to the body n a couple body shots/uppercuts. He got severely out jabbed and his only moment in the round was a pull counter right hand.

    If you understand Floyd's inner fragile EGO... his smile had nothing to do with him being thrilled to land 25% or getting punched in the face. I saw it as desperate.

    The guy from the LA Times had it 115-113 for Cotto.

    I thought it was a close fight. Can't remember seeing Mayweather that bloodied up or on the ropes so much.

    Excellent take on the fight.

    For the poster who said Mayweather loves being hit and being in a dog-fight, lol..don't need to post Floyd's own words and HL's to contradict that, we all know it's not true..and you think Floyd claiming after the fight he was leaning towards retiring had nothing to do with the fight being extremely tough and detrimental his self-preservation?

    What're your thoughts on Mayweather vs Canelo. I just dont see how Floyd can keep up with a guy who outweighs him by nearly 20 lbs and is powerful and explosive as Canelo. I was very impressed with Alvarez' performance even with Shane being 40.

    Floyd looked like **** compared to Pacquiao.

    Floyd can't even clean up the Pacman's leftovers!
