How vulnerable did Floyd look vs Cotto? Will he look as vulnerable vs Guerrero?

Zab aint as mentally tough and only looks good for 4 or 5 rds. Plus Floyds not gonna be on his tip toes pot shotting Guerrero like he did Castillo in the rematch. Guerrero is as tough and technically/fjndamentally skilled as Castillo was. And I already know Floyds gonna come forward as he always does vs souhpaws and as hes recently been doing since the Marquez fight. Maybe only Augustus hit Floyd as clean(due to his awkwardness offbeat style) as many of the southpaws Floyd has fought.

Floyd is at his best behind the shoulder role, which is not as effective vs southpaws. Thats why he comes in with his guard up looking to get off first and get to close quarters so he can take their stance away. As someone said earlier, once you get on the inside vs a southpaw, he stops fighting like one. Because of Floyds come forward, aggressive style which he heavily relies on a lead right hand, that leaves him more vulnerable and hit cleaner than we are accustomed to seeing.

 

The stance has everything to do with it. If a southpaws right hook is the perfect counter to a lead right hand and is also a counter to the shoulder roll(hitting the left side of the body), then that negates Floyds best offensive and defensive move. It doesnt completely negate it but it forces Floyd to jump in and rely heavily on slipping a counter which is dangerous. He has to come out of his comfort zone to get on the inside vs a southpaw where he can control the fight. I applaud Floyd for being able to adjust and use his brilliant speed and reflexes to take over the fight but he looks pretty vulnerable to me when hes facing a southpaw. Guerreros ability to constantly pivot, hit and turn his opponent is also going to give Floyd fits.
