I agree. Floyd was there to entertain. He took punches he normally wouldn't take because he had no respect for McGregor's power and because he was making $350 million.

That fight should not count on Void's resume, it was bogus........................Conor made his boxing debut, his record was 0-0-0, that fight was not even good WWE. However I would pay to see Conor fight Void with UFC rules, a cage match.....................Void would have no chance...................

The fact it was sanctioned it should count.

The fact it was sanctioned means that boxing has been proven corrupt beyond a shadow of a doubt!

What if Golovkin had fought a 0-0-0 fighter, or Klitschko?

He absolutely carried McGregor, there's really nothing more to say.

Floyd doesn't fight in that manner ever. He obviously did it because he knew he was in there with a novice boxer. Truthfully, it was an entertaining fight but very sloppy at times, as was the product of putting an experienced boxer in the ring with a novice.

If he fought in the manner he normally has been at the higher weights- a defensively oriented, pot shotting/counterpunching artist- he would've cleaned him out 12-0 in a very boring, one sided campaign. I don't believe his usual counterpunching style would've been enough to get McGregor stopped, so he decided to shock everyone and actually go for the surprising stoppage.

He'll fight for brief periods of time during matches with a high guard with the attempt to walk his opponent down. He'll only do this for brief intervals though. In the Conor fight, he did it from the opening bell and didn't change his style. That method was obviously going to make him more susceptible to getting hit back cleanly, but it also increased his chances for the stoppage which he ultimately received.

The fight is a success, but fell short of the 4.6M buys of May-Pac.

Showtime may not release the figures anytime soon or they might inflate it.

May-Pac will remain the top PPV for a long time.

    Case closed.

    It's Rick Glaser.
Anything with Rick, you have to add 30% on top. Dude is very modest.
If he says 3.2 inches it could means 4.2 inches.

Over 3 million ,wow! Proves the point that the so called circus act sold well and everyone that claimed to never watch or pay for the fight commented so much that the forum had to lump those comments into one thread.

People need to just quit lying and putting up stupid fronts.
I don't have a dog in Saturdays fight but I'm ordering it, I like to be entertained. I order UFC fights too. This weekend I went to a jujitsu competition and it was boring as hell. $35 dollars at the door but I like combat.
