Floyd Mayweather has been getting a bad rep. People are taking his comments out of context. I've had him added on facebook and twitter since he made them. He gets a lot of hate and racism tossed at him EVERYDAY. People can only take so much before they burst. If you check his pages, everything from facebook to youtube. He has pages and pages of racist comments directed towards him. Now I'm not saying that two wrongs make a right by any means. He could of handled the situation better but he was just fed up.

He says he is doing these streams and everything for his fans and yet he manages to attract haters and thus we are where we are now. I was watching the stream the night he said those things and he was getting all kinds of hate thrown at him the whole night when all he was trying to do was entertain his fans... He was calling fans and talking to and interacting with them... its kind of hard to do so when you have haters distracting him... He ignored it for the most part but came to a breaking point.

And honestly I don't think he is truly racist... He was just talking "smack" everyone has done it... he probably never had true racist intent behind him he was just talking to talk and act "cool"... People like to talk about his racism yet they fail to recognize things from his perspective.... what he is experiencing...

Right and I as a fan of him I'm extremely frustrated the fight didn't happen as well! However, if people hate him for "ducking" pacman thats fine and justified but don't try and ruin his image without looking at "the man in the mirror" first.

Did you watch the video? RUIN his image? Are you ****ing serious? He is the only person responsible for wrecking his already ruined image.

Mayweather is the one who has been trying to tarnish Pac's image ever since he came back from retirement. No doubt the insecure and jealous little twat was bound to explode with boxing fans giving him **** on that stream, but he would have trashed Pac anyway, as has been his mission since coming back. He just took it to the next extreme being riled up. He deserves zero sympathy.

    :bbb:tired:dead:!:

Please, nothing like a double standard... I'm taking his "smack talking" out of context??? Please just because the man is a clown, doesn't give him "pass" to say that kind of **** in MY BOOK. For the last year he's been talking himself up, BUT at the same time he's tried to disparage and tear down Pacquiao's reputation with his UNFOUNDED BULL****.

And I'm supposed to put myself in HIS shoes??? **** THAT ****!!! :fire

    Cool thread.

Making off color comments about people's racial heritage just ain't cool. As a Black person he should be more sensitive to it. I hate he made the vid.

At the end of the day though? His fists make the money. His mouth sells the fights. This sad spectacle will sell fights. What does that say about us? Damn.

We all know (well at least if you know anything about boxing) that all this "BS" is nothing but a marketing ploy. When they fight next year the fight will SMASH records...

The peak of this fight was this year. When both are still prime. People can get killed within a year.

People love watching a classic good vs evil fight. Instances like this rile people up and make the whole situation all the more interesting. When that bell rings people are going to be at the edge of their seats in anticipation of their every move. Like him or not he is a marketing genius... and his fights sell...
