I know man, I didn't mean it in a bad way. I just really don't care if some overrate or underrate his power. From what I've seen over the past 4 fights, it is his accuracy and angles that do damage and not so much crushing power. :good
i would agree that his style causes as many problems as his power will, but if you find the angles, and then have nothing behind the shots you throw, it's pointless unless you plan on winning every fight via points
I disagree. Yes, you cannot be completely feather fisted. But angles, speed and accuracy kill. It's the accurate shots you don't see that crack chins.
they do to a certain extent, but there must be a degree of power in the mix, or angles mean nothing, unless the speed and accuracy work to such an extent that they force a tko
Clottey won't fight dirty... we seen those pics of him cheesing with paq and being oh so gracious for the opportunity to be in ring with such magnificent fighter brought to us from god...and all that other ****. Clottey is a mere Arum henchman. a standin for the megafight that did not happen. round 5 or 6 after a "good attempt" of fighting the onslaught.. paq gets him in the 5th or 6th... go john duddy
Clottey's shell defense is vastly overrated. As in the Cotto clip provided in this thread, there are holes to punch through. Manny will find those holes and probably stop Clottey.
I competely agree with you Relentless. I can't picture it going very much differently than that. And don't worry BewareofDawg if it is a controversial decision all that means is Pac may have something to do when Floyd loses to Shane and uses his rematch clause. Which for Pac means fight Clottey again. I don't see it happening that way on Pac's side of it though.
Clottey will be stronger then anyone Pac has faced, difference being Clottey while having a good defence has a tendency to gas in the later rounds and has a low workrate i think Pac outworks Clottey to a UD But i cant see someone even as special as Pac knocking Clottey out.
Clottey if he takes it safe.. I like Clotteys movement and chin, too. I was kind of suprised when cotto knocked him down with a jab (was it a jab?) Though, this is the pacman, so who knows. He has a good shot against any welter.
This content is protected Of course Clottey can mock after that Cotto flurry, Cotto didn't land one flush shot in that sequence. It's unlikely to happen in a Pacquiao flurry. But an upset is possible. Clottey is always a tough fight for any welter. How much more for a "small" welter?
