I like Pacquiao to win a clear decision...scoring two knockdowns along the way. Marquez wiil give him some trouble stylistically though...
I think Pacman will demolish him. Same as last Morales fight, one fighter got better and better, the other has declined.
Marquez is an old snail, but hopefully he somehow channels the spirit of Starling and decimates Pac with impregnable defence and flawless countering.
A decisive Pac UD. I don't think Marquez will have the necessary speed to combat Pac like he had. Obviously he was always at a speed disadvantage, but there becomes a gap where the power increase and speed separation is too much to effectively handle. The biggest key difference between Pac since his last fight with Marquez is not his improvement in the right hand (Roach actually said his right hand started to get real good where he wanted it in the Diaz and Oscar fights. That's two fights after the second Marquez fight) but his counter-punching ability. And that will be the difference here. He's not just a face first, aggressive, "If I can't lead effectively I'll lose" kind of fighter anymore. Another improvement is his defense particularly the tighter guard he shows which makes it more difficult to tag him when he's coming in. Pac UD.
I think Marquez has Pacquiao's number. But Manny will eeke out a decision. I can't decide how much of an issue the weight is gonna be.
Credit where credit is due, I seldom agree with PP but he was probably the closest in this thread. Although at least I can say I didn't get carried away and make a compelte fool of myself.
