I'd have to agree with this. Glad to see Williams put on a solid performance.

Was a ok performance from Williams, I doubt he will get big fight like he mentioned BUT I'd like to see him in there with a Powell or even Bundrage

I hope he gets 2 to 3 more big fights, then hangs up the gloves. He has over 40 plus fights and has been in tough matches (Margarito, Quintana 1, Martinez, Lara). Add this to his high workrate and you can see that even at the rpe age of 30/31, he doesn't have many quality years left.

I was confused when Showtime was saying how all the fighters would want at him now to get their name on their resume. I still don't see them risking it against him

I think Williams is one of those fighters who,if the stars were correctly aligned( i.e training camp etc) then he could probably beat anyone with the exception of Mayweather.I just think he's one of those guys who is prone to terrible self-doubt.
Shame,I had high hopes for him at one point. He's probably far more likely to lose a fight he's expected to win than pull off a stunning upset.Just think if everything's right,he has the abilty to trouble anyone, unlikely as it may be.

Paul Williams is a warrior, who's had an excellent career. He should get out of the game before his health seriously declines. He is another brutal KO waiting to happen, and no-one wants to see that. If he is to continue, he should stay away from punchers. Sergio would spark him again

Nothing really to see here. Bottomline, Paul williams was back to his old self again, problem is Ishida didn't have the power to take advantage of his mistakes. Ishida landed some blows, just didn't have any pop to it. But Paul it seems to me is still steadfast in his "offense is the best defense" philosophy

  11. He has a Fragile Glass Mandible. As my great grandfather used to always say "once they crack, they don't come back".:deal

Williams is still a major factor in the division provided that he stays away from counter punchers and southpaws. He's only looked bad because he has been fighting stylistic nightmares. He eats come forward types for lunch and gives anyone at 154 hell. Williams ain't going nowhere anytime soon. The demise of Williams has been greatly exaggerated.
