Now that he has retired what did you make of hi career? Could have gone further or did he reach his limit?
Think he could've mixed it up with the contenders and gone out with a better resume but he did reach his limit in the sense that he'd never be a world champion.
Not ment in A disrespectful way but if you look at the fighters he beat I think he massively overachieved when you look at his boxing ability
Shouldnt have left Maloney, he would have got a home IBF shot against Molitor which he could have won.
Very good fighter in his prime, probably could have won his world title had he been managed better and got better fights at the right time. Shame the way it ended for him, he was past it by the time he fought Quigg and Scott was just to young and hungry for him. Prime Rendall would probably have beaten Quigg, never mind last longer than 6 rounds. Glad he packed it in when he realised he wasn't what he once was, hate to have seen him go the way of Jason Booth. Good fella too was Rendall. Down to earth and likeable. BOXING BINMAN!!! :bbb
His win over Martinez was a great night. Likeable guy, always gave it his all and went over to Japan and gave a good account of himself, just lacked any power.
