Thoughts on Solis vs. V. Klitschko?

dude i'm sorry but he's my least favourite commentator ever. i never got the impression he knew **** about boxing except how to cheerlead for ali

 

I watched the fighters in the 80's, many flash in the pans, a few had there moments of condition but the Witherspoons, Tubbs, Pages, and then the drug guys like Dokes and Thomas just were not dedicated and it started the fat or drugged Heavyweight syndrome ...Solis got rocked and when his legs took an unnatural stance his legs could not hold up his big ass ...you have to be in condition to get in condition and one of the reasons Tyson dominantly Ko'd the left overs from the 80's was condition...Holmes was always in shape and that was his strength...Lennox Lewis and Holyfield the same....as a fighter you have to always been in walking condition and be ready for heavy training...fighter like Joe Louis fought exhibitions weighing 230lbs and still looked good but Joe knew his top condition would be 20lbs lighter...Marciano ran like a marathon fighter to keep his weight down...the Klitschko's are Big tall guys so weighing 240-250 is being fit but to their credit they are always in walking condition and that is one reason why they dominate today's guys

I agree with whoever it was that said Pacheco sucks. He was a biased blabbermouth.

I agree that the Klitchkos come in shape, and many others do not. At 6 foot 7 or 8, these guys can carry 240/250 pounds. Shorter guys can't do it. These shorter dudes put on weight, thinking it'll help them nowadays, but it doesn't. Solis is learning the hard way, though truthfully it's impossible to prove that the injury wouldn't have happened even without the weight. Yet it makes sense...the body isn't meant to carry that much, thus pieces are going to break down.

 

This pretty much mirrors my thoughts as well. What an unsatisfying ending..and it kind of bothers me how happy Klitschko fans are about it. Guess they only care who wins and not about the entertainment value fans and tv views were expecting.
