Seem like good dudes that treated there fighters well. Dan Goosen was more on the promotion side and really helped James Toney get back on track from what I understand. Joe Goosen has trained some of my favorite fighters in recent years including Sergey Lipinets who is one of my favorite fighters at the moment. He seemed to have good relationships with Corrales, Casamayor and the Ruelas brothers and they had most of their success when they were with him.
I also think Joe is a very good under the radar trainer. Dan did help Toney I remember and I believe he was also used by Ward because Ward wanted out of the contract. No idea on details.
"You gotta ****in' get inside on him now!". Sorry, had to be said - it's the 'You're blowing it, son" of the Noughties.
