Dubois is a Glass Jawed Fighter. He has no Chin. None.

IF Kabayel wins it would definitely be a massive profile raiser.

I don't honestly know who I'd make favourite, though.
Dubois is coming off that Usyk loss, but his blowout win over AJ was an even more dominant win over a better fighter than Kabayel's over Zhang...

Kabayel's body assault could definitely make Dubois quit.... But equally Dubois isn't nearly as slow and static as Zhang (or crippled like hypejob Sanchez) - and Kabayel's resume is really quite thin, the evidence isn't really there that makes it a foregone conclusion he can apply it at that level.

It'd be a fun fight, fairly even going in - if anything I'd make Dubois a slight favourite, but I'd definitely be tuning in.

Defensive is the polite way to put it, but let's go with that.

Absolutely, yes, there's plenty of recognition to be earned there...

I just don't know if Kabayel's heart is really in it - seeing him waste that springboard opportunity that Chisora should've given him, seeing he only fought one bum per year for 6 years, and then aiming at another bum in Hysa after a fresh springboard from Zhang...
This doesn't fill me with confidence that this is a guy who actually cares about getting into big fights or improving his earning ability.

Definitely... But does he actually want to? Or does he just say it?

Given the trajectory so far, it feels more like this...

It would make sense . He wants to keep the legacy of being an active , undefeated and undisputed hw champion and wants to keep this status as long as possible without risking to loose a fight .
For his own proudness , for being a morale boost in his country and much more .

    Nonsense.

He's a glass hearted fighter, he can (and will, when pushed enough) quit even when he still has a punchers chance.

But glass jaw? Nah, his chins ok at worst.

It doesn't make sense at all...

He's an honour fighter - his entire career has been taking hard fights, on the road, and winning despite hostile judging... On top of that, he doesn't cheat and he doesn't disparage opponents.

A fighter like that taking silly fights just to appear to still be active? Really?

For his own pride, taking the easy route isn't going to be satisfying given how he got there - I don't buy it.
Trying to keep that status, unbeaten, by taking easy fights to pad the numbers? It doesn't connect whatsoever with the entirety of the rest of his career.

Nothing personal, but it just reads like absolute nonsense to me.

The fight with Yoka poses a certain risk for Kabayel, that fight would somehow not make sense, Kabayel would be a big favorite but what if he loses that fight?

Fair enough. Lets just wait what opponent he will face next and when .

He is fefinitely overdue in defending his belts

Unless there's a realistic chance of him losing, which there isn't really, it doesn't pose any more risk than any other time a fancied contender takes a soft touch opponent.

Dubois has a Glass Jaw. He has no Chin. None. How many more times do you need to see it?

There is no fight to pull out from. It was proposed this Saturday, nothing has been agreed yet, lol. Yoka already signed to fight Agit.

    Exactly.

His heart is questionable - he has quit in him - but his chin, so far, isn't proven glass.

If I badly wanted to defend him a bit, I'd even point out that I can't really blame him for the Joyce quit - he was in imminent danger of a life-changing injury and had no way to win.

The flipside is against Usyk he still had his punchers chance, and that's as much as he ever had against the cat.

I don't get people inventing nonsense when there are perfectly legitimate (and equally impactful) reasons to criticise a given fighter.

#1,, I think Dubois is a good representative of the heavyweight division, but I don't think he's a very good fighter. #2 he is willing to fight anyone but that's not always beneficial to the fighter. #3 good move for Dubois? If he gets laid out in a beating where Kabayel takes him apart with a body attack and stops him mid fight, which is what I think will happen, what's next for Dubois? Back to back brutal KO losses is a path not travelled often by heavyweight fighters who make successful come backs

This would be a great fight to make, it seems most are picking Kabayel

I think Dubois could win this. Sanchez and Mak did not give him much resistance and the one time Zhang threw a clean shot he dropped Agit

If Dubois takes the fight to him and backs him up I think he has a chance. I also think he can hurt him.

    Good match up
