    Hoping the fight goes down.

    Good analysis BF.

I see it the way you do. Haye has the ability to win this fight. He could use his in and out style to frustrate Vitali early and get him headhunting, while losing early rounds.
With Vitalis body beginning to break down, we could potentially see Dr EisenfauB injure himself in the process of throwing too many punches, and I think Haye has the skills to avoid desperate winging shots, even from Vitali.

But, it would take Haye to literally get into them trenches to land any kind of meaningful punches. Especially the way Vitali leans back to take the power of this opponents punches. Can Haye continue at 100% for the duration of the fight? I dont think he could.

The key for Vitali in this one is patience. Let Haye come to him while he works the jab from the outside and holds back on his power shots until Haye is ready to commit.

If Vitali excercises the self control he has demonstrated throughout his career after the Byrd fight, I see Haye getting caught lunging in with a striaght hard R hand, being stunned and dropped and not recovering.
If he is able to get back up, it'll take the sting off his own shots and make him the far more cautious fighter, than even the one vs Wlad and Valuev.

My prediction is either Vitali by T/KO or by 8-4 type decision with Haye winning a few early rounds.:good

Haye too fast, too slick, too black.

Vitali too slow, too old, too white.

    Haye wins by stoppage.

It is evident that now is the best time for Haye to fight Vitali if winning is all he cares about. I thought that Vitali was looking a little slow in the Solis fight, and prior to the KO/injury I felt that it was going to be a hard night for Vit and that it would signal the beginning of the end for him. However, he got the KO and he has continued. The Chisora fight showed a similar side of Vit (ageing), but credit to Derreck for an excellent performance for a relative novice.

With all that in mind, Haye has the best chance he will ever get. He can actually make his speed count in this fight (unlike against Wlad). As much as I hated Haye's performance against Wlad, it did show that he can evade punches at HW extremely well (easier when you spend the whole night running, I admit). Vitali will hit a lot of air, and will pay for his aggressiveness, it will only give Haye the counter opportunities that he so desperately wanted against Wlad.

However, Vitali has a very solid chin. If Haye's counters don't make a dent, then he's gonna have to run and pot shot...which I think he would have to pull off perfectly to win on the cards. Haye will never have the stamina to fight at a high pace for 12 rounds, so if Vitali can do that (not a foregone conclusion at his age) then Haye would be in for a very tough night.

I'm not sure why I'm believing the hype again, but I see Haye winning by some form retirement by Vitali (knees, shoulder giving out).

i think Haye has to go for it in the first 6, if Vitali manages to hurt him if Haye ducks and weaves around i dont think Vitali could finish him unless its a one punch ko, because Vitali is gettin old id like to see if his chin holds up to a few bombs, i think Haye could stop him around the 5th if he fights brave

Before i start i do believe you are correct that Vitali would win by UD, however i think its anything but as simple as keeping Haye on the backfoot for Vitali. Its a bad matchup for him at this point or at least the worst matchup in the division for him. Haye holds some aces up his sleeve which gives him an outside chance of pulling the upset.

Vitali may be able to throw 1000 punches against Johnson a fighter so intimidated he was scared to throw counters when he so clearly could have. Haye had a low output against the much bigger Valuev and the more skilled brother Wladimir who didnt give Haye any kind of target. Vitali however will willingly try and trade with Haye and throw combinations, this in turn leaves plenty of counterpunching opportunities that in my honest opinion Haye will only be too happy to take advantage of.

This leads onto the second point that once Haye connects, will Vitali be able to re-establish himself once Haye has spun off and got out of range. We all know about Vitali's injury problems in the past and that Byrd managed to make Vitali miss often enough that he actually injured himself, although it highly unlikely that this would happen again i wouldnt like to bet that Vitali's legs will standup to all the twisting and moving Haye will force him to do. We could perhaps see Vitali become very leg weary as early as the middle rounds. If a boxer with average movement like Adamek can force Vitali's leg to randomly give out then what is a fighter like Haye going to be able to do. If Vitali does become leg weary it highly possible that during these middle rounds Haye will find it easier to not only counter Vitali but to move to the side and get more punches off on a relativly stationary target. I dont care how good a chin Klitschko has, if he gets hit with hard punches on a regular basis from a puncher of Haye's caliber he will eventually fall.

I think the most probabal outcome is that Vitali proves too active over the counterpunching Haye who has his moments but ultimately doesnt do enough. This is not a fight people should sleep on Haye, his movement will give Vitali nightmares.

Haye wins, for one obvious reason. (Seriously)

Anyone have a guess at what it could be?

Haye will fight scared again and look to win by big KO while not trying to win rounds.

Vitali piles up the points, jabs Haye to pieces and takes a comfy decision.

Hate wouldn't be jabbed to pieces so much as occupied by avoiding the jab, I doubt vitali will do damage with his jab if wlad couldnt
