Another great video Rummy. I think Fury is definitely looking like he beats everyone at the moment. I'd like him to drop an extra 30 pounds again though.
Always enjoy your content, but whilst I agree with you losing to Fury doesn't erase what Wilder had accomplished before this, that in turn is kind of the problem... What exactly had he accomplished to be considered above Joshua in your eyes?
No way that weight let he bully and bash the hell out of Wilder, he said he overtained to lose weight for the Wallin fight at this weight he would have blown Wallin away, he should forget about weight and focus on practising stuff in sparring, training to get weight down destracts you from learning fundamentals in training.
I actually thought he looked 'fitter' in the rematch than in the first fight, despite being heavier in the rematch. But I get what you're saying. Watching how 'skinny' he looked against Wlad (and when he confronted Wilder after one of his fights - I think it was after Szpilka). But I think anywhere from 255-270 works for him if he's fully prepared.
Well, he had already battled Fury to a draw, which I think provided him with the edge given AJ recently lost (and since avenged, of course). Granted that draw was controversial.
Fury kind of reminds me (in a loose sense) of James Toney. If they're fighting fit and ready, weight isn't as big a deal for certain type of fighters as long as they're well-conditioned. This isn't true for most fighters, but I think Fury fits the mold.
Enjoyed the above video and except for the inexplicable Arreola pick think the rest of them made sense at the time even if I didn't agree with them. Not many saw Fury Wlad or Ruiz Joshua 1 happening. I certainly didn't.
Thanks. At that time, I was not picking against Wlad regardless of opponent, and I certainly didn't think Fury would toy with a guy whose known as being a tactical chess boxer. And yeah, a few days before Joshua-Ruiz 1 I was boldly proclaiming something to the effect "Any fight involving Fury, AJ, or Wilder only matters now if it's between 2 of those 3". The Ruiz Jr stepped up.
