I actually fancy that Casey may have a chance in this fight. The only fight i have seen of Rigondeauxs was the Cordoba fight and i really wasnt that impressed. Most of his 7 fights have ended early and he has only gone the 12 rounds once, against Cordoba. Although Casey hasnt gone 12 rounds (which is strange hes allowed to fight for a "World Title") he doesnt seem to have any issues with regards to stamina and keeps the pressure on at all times.

I'd be interesed to know what size the ring is as i believe this could decide the winner of the fight. If it is a small ring then Rigondeaux will find himself in front of Casey all night but if it is a large ring he will be able to stick and move.

Anyone on here know what size was agreed for the ring?

Rigondeaux hits very, very hard, lets not forget cordoba was tentative with rig which didnt play into rigs hands. Casey will come all night(similiar to katsidis) even when hurt, he's goin to take some serious amount of punishment and his toughness and durability will be tested greatly. Whether he can take this remains to be seen!

You were not impressed with a guy facing an ex-champ in his prime on his 8th fight? Going 12th for the first time and only losing one or two rounds, just because he got on his bike for the last 5 rounds you can't dismiss the first 6 and he almst ko cordova again in the 10 or 11, Cordova didn't do $hit after he landed the jab that put Rigondeaux down, he was outrun, outclassed and outpunched.

Rigo eventually outclasses him but I see Willie getting the respect of Rigo and the fans along the way. the kid is hard as nails.

Sadly, I see Casey playing right into Rigo's hands. If he charges in like he normally does, Rigo will have a field day with him.

Being a massive Casey fan, it's gonna be rough seeing Rigo completely outclass him and stop him in the mid rounds but there is that little nugget of hope hidden away deep inside me that thinks Casey can land a BIG BANG that will send Rigo into trouble.

    WAR BIG BANG
