This content is protected I know it's a little early to predict but oh well... he has over 300 amateur bouts, has been knocked down by so-called ''tomato cans'' but most of those knockdowns were flash, the only legit KD was against Darling Jimenez... so guys, where do you see this young prospect's career going? do you see him losing later in his career? would he retire early? :good.
He does everything wrong, but he has that "wow" factor. I realy want him to succeed but you have to see him coming undone against organised punchers...i think he will be in really really fun fights, but i don't think he'll make ATG status or anything like that...too vulnerable. I hope i'm wrong though...i used to think otherwise.
Same as McGrain. I do however think he'll have too much for the current feathers as well as JuanMa Lopez. At the moment, someone like Humberto Soto at 130 would probably be his undoing. I'm a massive fan though, he's definitely the most exciting talent aroud those weights, moreso than the two shockingly overrated venezualans that seem to get most of the praise
I think hes the most explosive fighter in the featherweight division and I'm looking forward to him fighting Lopez. I actually met the guy last month and thought he looked familiar but couldn't remember who he was until after he had left atsch
I think he looks like a bad ass, yes he breaks rules, but his physical speed, power lets him get away with it. He looks like something truly special and maybe he can be an ATG. Usually fighters tighten up and stop making stupid mistakes when they start mixing with the elite. I see him beating JuanMa, Chris John, Luevano, Vasquez, R Marquez. I want to see him in against them all but Im not keen on him above 126, hes so short Fleaman I cant see Soto having too much of a shot against him after seeing Guzman school Soto, Guzman is a different type of fighter but the speed will be too much for Soto
Thanks for the responses guys... I have a question...if he gets a trainer like Manny Stewart or Roger Mayweather would he be a well technical explosive fighter? Let's remember...He's the type of fighter that uses his reflexes and NOT his hands to defend himself (similar to how RJJ fought in his prime), but what he lacks is punching power, can those trainers help him develop it?.
hes good but wont be a great.....too many things going wrong with him and he doesnt have the roy jonesish natural ability to overcome them against a truly refined great fighter. i havent really been impressed with any of these guys lately.....(gamboa, lopez, arreola, ortiz etc.) the last guy i knew was gonna be a serious threat was paul williams
What do you think of Lara? i've seen many people say he's better disciplined and trained than the rest of the Cubans.
Im a huge fan of his. Most of knockdowns are when he is off-balance because he jumps in somewhat but against a big puncher like Lopez I think he will calm it down a little and stop Lopez late. Future P4P also.
No. Someone like Steward would ruin what makes him great. Roger, maybe. Someone like Nazeem Richardson, who works with what he has but improves footwork and fundamentals, would work wonders though.
