That is very hypothetical. To even be in those fights let alone to win them. Groves is a classy performer but I can't see that happening - I think Degale has more chance of getting with Froch and Ward before Groves even if only because of his olympic Gold

    Fair enough.

Its strange then if hardocre fans feels he is not up to it, for him to go for a WBO title, its put him in line this year to face alot of tough guys, Anderson he as to rematch and Abraham if he wins, for mandatory.

Again if he succeeds, he cant step back surely he would have to fight the tougher elite level by next year...

I think Bute decisions Froch, and Bute and Ward deffo get it on.

I suppose looking at it from a 'could be scenario' it would be shocking, as he would have to defeat many good fighters in a row...perhaps its too much fiction.

If he wins he will either fight in the US or stay with Fwank and fight a string of joke opponents that will suddenly appear in the WBO rankings, like Cleverly is doing.

I'd spend a lot of money going to his fights.

Guess he would develop a huge following.

Another question, how would you view his greatness...it would be a helluva a run.

If he beats Steiglitz (should be a tough fight) I'd love to see Groves vs Abraham :bbb

Abraham is a winnable fight for Groves, as Arthur plods forward, not sure of George has that 'man strength' yet to keep him off.

At this point I think Stieglitz is a harder fight than Abraham, if you have a decent jab and high work rate you'll beat Abraham.

It isn't strange at all in my opinion, how do you think Cleverly gets on with the elite at Light Heavy? Also throw Bute and Ward into that, as they will inevitably move up sooner or later. Now he's a "World Champion", but do you see him getting in with or much less beating them?

i actually thaught anderson was going to burst the groves bubble and i like groves, pitty he pulled out, had a few bets on that with mates. he prob saved me money tho ha!
imo there is no way groves beats ward, ever!
