Thoughts?

i gave garth 2 rds. A few rds were close but Choc defence was tight.

 

I stopped trying to score it during the 6th or 7th..to many schooners.

The fight overall belonged to Wood IMO...he looked like an apprentice butcher trying to carve up a carcass with a machete but he got the job done in most rounds.

But the decision sits fine with me because Choc got those 2 late KD's.

I DO NOT want to see it but Garth deserves a rubber more so than Sammy Soliman did.

Against the right fringe contender Choc might be able to pretend he is world class again...someone with no power who follows him around...but IMO he is done.
I would have said a year ago the unspectacular Trout would have been 50-50 fight for him...but his 15 punches a round tactics along with his diminished reflexes wouldn't be enough. Trout actually now looks quicker, slicker and has a much more steadier workrate.

 

Choc was blocking a lot of those shots but some rounds was throwing nothing to land even less.

Every 10th shot of Garth's was slipping threw and half landing...his body attack wasn't to bad either.

 

I have to watch it again today, went to the pub and got on it, not sure what time i made it back home but was in no condition to turn on a computer thats for sure.

Mundines legs are gone, hardly any movement at all except for the last round where he found a bit of bounce in his step.
Just retire.

If you want to know where mundines at, wich most of already know, he just edged a decision off garth wood, after already losing to him, doesnt that in itself tell where he is at?

I actually watched this bowl of **** for a fight, and thought Wood was coasting it up until the later stages.

Wood was belting him for the majority of the fight, and up until the 7th or so, I only had Mundine winning perhaps the first and one other round.

Overall it was a **** rugged fight, and anyone who wants to see more of that needs to drink a schooner of aids.
