Hrgovic was overweight in his last fight as an amateur, so hopefully, he will be in shape for his pro run, he has to be.

The Hrga should have a match in September, and his opponent is not yet known. What is known about Filip Hrgovic's plan on his way to his ultimate goal, a tough world title.

The German promoter Sauerland will choose opponents for Philip.

Phil boxed 7 rounds when he was 19, so his twelve rounds would be easier.

Our bronze medalist is already in the preparations for the match that will most likely be held in Germany, and in what form can be seen in the video published on his official Facebook page.

For three or four years I could get a title for the title of world champion. We'll see how things will develop. Maybe earlier, maybe later. And maybe never, "Hrgović says

Who had come to Svetice last week could see that Filip Hrgović began preparing for the first match of his professional career. In fact, it was a bit of surrealistic scenes because the incredibly talented 25-year-old who dreams of world heavyweight champion title has opened his way to top at fitness training at a devastated athletics stadium.

Namely, the Svetice has been completely neglected in the last few years because of the never-ending construction of the HNS camp. But this is already another story that should not overshadow turning a new list into the career of an impassioned athlete. With almost two meters of height and its accompanying muscles, Hrgović is truly impressive. Above that there is also an indisputable boxing skill.

Two years ago Hrgović became the Amateur Champion of the Old Continent, repeating the success of the legendary Mate Parlov from 1971. Last year, however, at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro he won a bronze medal, which he forgave from the world of amateur boxing. Now, almost fifty weeks after the last match, Hrgovic began preparations for his debut performance among the professionals, under the umbrella of the renowned German promoter Wilfried Sauerland, who had also taken care of Zeljko Mavrović at the time.

    - I think this is the best story for me. As things stand now, the first match I should have at the end of September. All this has been going on for a long time, and there have been some things I would not talk about now. I'm happy to have all the rest and I can not wait for the first match - says Hrgovic.
    Battles in the series

Although it sounds pretentious, the impression is that you do not see that desire to return to the ring. Ultimately, it is his natural environment, that is, a venue where he shows all the splendor of his unrivaled talent.

"I always believed in myself and tried the best. The first good results I made very young, with me everything went gradually. Now behind me is a very good amateur career that many would like - adds the most famous Brestja.

Last year he also agreed with the famous Forbes magazine, on whose site Hrgović was placed on a list of young boxers who could make respectable professional careers. Among other things, in this article it is emphasized that the Croatian boxer has what many hardships do not have, combinations of punches in the series. In Forbes, on the other hand, they did not know that all this was achieved in modest conditions.

    - Throughout my career I have problems finding sparring partners, which is the most important condition for progress in boxing. Since it costs a lot of money, I've come up in a variety of ways. Ninety percent of my matches I did without previous sparring. Among the professionals, I will have a couple of sparing weeks for each match, and I'm convinced that I will progress. I am fast, durable and can give a long series of strokes. I have all the predispositions to be a top professional - confident Hrgovic explains.
    McGregor has no chance

For less than four weeks, August 26, a boxing match will be held in the US between unbeaten champion Floyd Mayweather and free-kick champion Conor McGregor. This spectacle has already been called 'The Battle for Money'. Figures are a business secret, but unofficial information says Mayweather will have to pay $ 100 million and McGregor $ 75 million.

"I think this is, above all, a good business move," says Filip Hrgović.

    For what?

"It will be good for Mayweather, it will be good for McGregor, it will be good for the audience. So why not hold such a match? But I think McGregor has no chance of winning. Again, he has nothing to lose in this match. If one blames Mayweather once, everyone will talk about it and earn money as in ten of their career.

Would you agree to a similar match?

    - Now I do not. First I have to do my boxing and go to the title of world champion. But one day I would definitely accept that offer. Frankly, it attracts me, I see that match as a challenge. I'm interested in wearing a free fight. I can only do this in two cases. Or if I become a world champion, or if I fail, so I'll need steam, ha, ha ...
    Strong scenes

There will be a lot more to say about it from the end of August last year. Then, in the VIP lounge of the old airport in Pleso, a treat for the Croatian conquerors of Rijeka was arranged. While others celebrated, Hrgović just found that he did not deserve such treatment.

"So I might have reduced the value of this bronze medal that I consider today to be a great success. But I wanted to win gold in Rio, so I was sad to come back. Today I am very proud of this result, although I will always complain about the defeat in the semi-finals - says the young man.

As things stand now, professional boxers will have the right to appear at the Tokyo Olympics in three years. Hrgović says that he is interested in another Olympic gold jury, but adds that from this time distance he can not claim that it will be.

P.S. Looks like Hrgovic will fight on 7 October in Germany. Sauerland have a fight card set for the 7 October date in Germany but no fights cards are scheduled for Germany for the end of of September, so Hrgovic is not going to fight at the end of September like he claims.

The latest interview with Filip Hrgovic:

Morning Power, Night Technique He also wanted us to see what his typical day was like, when everything goes through his friend's sea greetings?

    - My August Day is similar to that of January, March and other training days. In the morning I mostly work with a fitness trainer on endurance and strength, with lots of running and exercises of strength, and in the evening I work boxing technique. How does this kind of tacit arrangement of sports obligations come from his girlfriend Marinela? "Since I do not have enough time for Marinella and we rarely go out, I know how to cheat and say that the cancellation period is already running. I may have neglected social life too much, but I'm happy for this and I do not know for a different life. I say, on Zrce, I would not have been in the world because I do not understand that world and it makes no sense to me. I am happy to do good training and it is all my luck to have a patient girl who fully understands me and respects what I'm doing. A little bit of a girl would do this well, because I'm overwhelmed by the sporting regime of life.

    When you will start sparring?

    - Three weeks before the fight I will go to camp in Germany where four freshmen will wait for me to shoot for two weeks. It's a lot easier when you're part of a team. Ever since he had been a professional boxer, Hrga has formed a new team of people around him. - My fitness coach is Igor Čordas, the man who discovered Sandra Perkovic. He raised me to a higher level of physical fitness. Nutritionist Luka Marasovic is concerned about nutrition, and in the team is Marina Banovic who gives me vitamins, amino acids, magnesium, to recover as much as I can next week. Boxing coach is Yusuf Hassan, with whom I work a lot on the technique. All this should come to light in his first professional fight that will most likely be the flagship of the promoter Sauerland Promotion, the same one that cared about the career of former heavyweight champion of Europe Željko Mavrović.

Everything is agreed, but it is not yet official, and will be on that day in early September when there will be a presidential term to reach the public signing of the contract. The Croatian heavyweight was also impressed by the great Vladimir Kličko, but it seems he was a little late. "He said when I sent the message for his forgiveness. He sent me a short videotape in which I wonder if I signed for me and what plans were for me. What are the rules of play when signing a first professional contract? "Nobody will sign you for just one year, to put you in the money and go away. That is why these first contracts are usually 4-5 years old so that those who invest in you after a couple of years can also charge. And nobody from the box will be charged for a long time as Floyd Mayweather, who is waiting for a boxing match on Saturday with the most popular MMA fighter today, Conor McGregor. Good business move - I look at it as a good business move, primarily from McGregor's side. Everyone honored that he managed to make this match for himself, because nobody gave it anyway, that he would do what he could to do. Still, no Iris continues to win the odds of winning

    - Sportsman, he has no prospect, but everyone will be fine. McGregor is good because he will make money in the UFC cage not to earn his entire career, Mayweather will be fine as he will play with his opponent. The television and the media are also gaining, so when I'm good for everyone, I have nothing against such a match. Is McGregor at least looking for a "lucky punch" for a happy hit? - No. I watched some of his public training and noticed that he did not have a boxing movement at all, he did not have the "flow" punches as they had boxers. His knowledge is on a low level. Can McGregor give at least a small percentage of the appearance as Mayweather has completed his career and may have been a bit rusty? - Mayweather's talent is such that he does not require a lot of strength and preparedness because he has an incredible sense of escalation. After all, when he could not reach Pacquiao, Marquez, Canelo, he would not even McGregor because Floyd was extremely mentally strong.

With his WSB experience he should fast track it at a Usyk/Derevyanchenko pace. Very excited to see him go pro. IS he staying in Croatia? I hope he doesn't hook up with some garbage German trainer and move to Deutschestan.

He'll be one of the top Heavyweights within 2-3 years. I hope he gets with the right coach and team. He's got very good potential.

Sounds like he has horrible management. Will not be getting a free ride to a title and be able to cherry pick his defenses like Wilder.
